I have always wished to have bikes back at some point but if I could find my old F4i I’d love to have it back, being my first bike. I didn’t have the skill set I have now to ride it to it’s potential and I think it would have been fun on the gap.

Have fun! I’ll be starting a 7 day stint at work tomorrow.

Depends what the curve looks like throughout the room range. I expect that like most v twins it will be at that torque level for a very short range.
If the torque curve is anywhere near the new wing, it’s a torque monster. I actually had the front end come up last time I rode dad’s wing.

Congrats on the new bike! The cross plane is addicting for sure.

@2talltim can’t give me crap about being a highlighter anymore 😂

Took the FJR out for a nice 285 mile ride of SEO twisties. No highways just curves and curves and more curves. I’ve been really busy so it was nice to just shut off the world and go riding.

Justin got wifed up. RIP Rider.
Still here, and I just moved back to SEO, so riding is gonna pick back up soon. Been hella busy, but I’m not gonna stop riding.

Sounds like you had a great trip! I've always enjoyed riding in West Virginia, less traffic usually.

So I kinda fell off the wagon. I was down to 207, got in a relationship, moved to a different city, got a shift work job, and boom I'm 20 pounds heavier. I'm now starting back at it again. This time I'm gonna break into the sub 200 range. That's my goal. I'm 227 today, I'd like to get there by end of the year.

Then 15 people show up and no one wants to lead a second group and it's a shit show. Then a couple peel off on their own and get all butt hurt and blame the leader when they get lost even though the route with gpx have been posted for months.
The real sad part is people play both sides of the pity coin. They get butt hurt if they're not invited but then do the same thing and think theres no issue with it...

I've never put them in the FJR either. I just man up and stick my hands in there. No issue with a gauge with a hose.

Buying a house has been one of the most frustrating purchase experiences of my life. I'm glad it's almost over... I'm ready to get back to riding some more.

I bought Fred's videos. Really helpful.
I think we got the OEM service manual, cant remember.

@Tonik I feel your pain. We've had dads wing torn completely apart to add accessories and such. Theres alot of pieces.

I added some nice scratches to the BMW by throwing it down the road at 60mph.
That sucks to hear, hope you're alright.

Whoever can guess what the blue text says on that front fender wins a prize.
If you know from having seen the bike you are disqualified.
Also, stop fighting with your internet words and start fighting with your chicken strips you fucks. It's summer.

Smoky Mountains would be great but after a short stint on living in Columbus, I quickly realized how great I had it in SEO. I’m glad to be back down here. Great roads, nothing like the smokies but good enough to keep me happy, and I have ridden every month for 4 years straight so the winter isn’t too terrible down here.
