  1. I'll admit i used to squid when I got my first bike (CBR600 F4i) and I thought it was cool to wear a t-shirt, shorts and sneakers. Now I can't even ride without a jacket and gloves.
  2. +1 on Knoxville. Traffic there sucks.
  3. My dad pulls a trailer with his harley on big trips (Week Long Trips to Myrtle Beach, when mom goes. No trailer needed without a woman). Literally everything but the kitchen sink lol. It's all about packing the trailer balanced. No weight in the trailer is actually dangerous because it bounces bad. His trailer uses a swivel hitch which helps the stability in corners. I've pulled it a few times, it's very stable. I'm not too sure about a homemade trailer, getting it to pull right might be a challenge if something isn't 100% square.
  4. Glad to see you got some resolution. Teespring seems to be a decent company IMO.
  5. Bother for the purpose of stopping better, it is not noticeable from a nose dive perspective.
  6. The linked brakes on the FJR are not even noticeable. I drag the rear a good bit, never feel a nose dive.
  7. Worth every penny. I don't think I could go back to not having it.
  8. Calm Down, the world is not burning. Proved False on Snopes. http://www.snopes.com/motorcycle-curfew-in-11-states/
  9. I thought this was hilarious and somewhat accurate.
  10. The people that received a faulty shirt submitted to Teespring with a photo of the issue and Teespring processed the request in a couple days. I did not submit the complaint.
  11. Regardless, ive always had good luck with Teespring making it right. I had 2-3 misprints and they had new ones shipped out in less than 2 days.
  12. Is it all of them or just a few? I wondered how they were gonna do a drop shadow on a shirt, usually you would have to do a halftone.
  13. I paid my insurance in full for the year one time. I really liked that. I miss having old motorcycle insurance rates...
  14. I was wondering how they were gonna do the drop shadow. I've had them misprint some of my shirt designs and they were quick to send out another to the client.
  15. I run a Cortech Dryver lock ring tank bag. I've had it on my old BMW and now my FJR. It has plenty of room (Hat, Keys, Wallet, 2 Bottles of water, pair of gloves, advil, etc). I don't have a very good pic of the bag, but it doesn't touch the paint. Only gripe is after 4/5 years, it is starting to show some fading. Mine is size small. http://www.cortech.net/inc/sdetail/dryver_tank_bag/175/568
  16. Chris, If you would lead, I could run sweeper. I have a Sena system.
  17. Count me in for either Medium or Slow group. I'd prefer to be a sweeper if any spots available. I have a Sena system.
  18. The rider could have handled the situation better, but owners of animals need to be held accountable. (If their is an owner)
  19. Our Ingersoll Rand 80 gallon is 30 years old running strong. Their expensive, but hard to beat. Just keep the oil changed with Royal Purple compressor oil and check water traps regularly.
  20. I'll be honest, I have no idea lol. It was my buddy's new bike. It was in B mode, I hopped on it and ran it down the road a couple miles. Shifting gears at 10k rpms and I was amazed how fast it got there. Of course, this was the first 1000 supersport I've been on. The front end got light, but I don't think it got off the ground (The FJR did a few times during our ride ) That was the highest rearsets I've ever used, no way I could ride one very far without getting in better shape. Here's a pic from our ride.
  21. My uncle was involved in a head on accident with a van. He broke his back in 3 places as well as a collapsed lung, several broken ribs, and internal bleeding. Recovery was almost a year, but he is now healthy and riding more than ever. Prayers for your friend and his family.
  22. Rode a 2015 R1 this afternoon. I don't think I will be trading in the FJR anytime soon. I was truly amazed how much power that bike has.
  23. Warm soapy water is the only thing I've ever used on a helmet. That bug slide stuff does work good on fairings and windshields though.
  24. A good friend of mine is wanting to get rid of his first bike after one summer of riding. Apparently sitting inside playing video games is more fun. I feel like I failed to show him how great motorcycle riding is. He never made it to a curvy road, only 300 miles on a brand new R3.
