  1. Only regret is I should have ordered one sooner. Terry and his wife Debbie are great to work with. I highly recommend them.
  2. I am officially done getting ready for the trip. Installed a fresh rear tire after work, then loaded up the bags. Gonna be a long day at work tomorrow.
  3. Welcome to the Sport Touring crowd. It seems like more and more people are drinking the Kool-Aid each year.
  4. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I think the main reason to switch locations was due to people having issues with the cabins at Fontana.
  5. F4i is uber cheap to get parts for. The hard part is finding one that hasn't been ragged out.
  6. Have fun, did you get any good GoPro footage from last weekend?
  7. I don't get off work until 5, so I'll probably be rolling in 6:30 or 7:00. I'll be coming from Rt 7.
  8. My standards for hotels are very low, so I figure we'll be good.
  9. Wow, @Tonik got @2talltim to book a non-Wyndham hotel?! Expectations are gonna be high...
  10. Says the guy who is at my house more than anyone else from OR.
  11. This is how I make my choices. Not a perfect system but it works IMO. I try to avoid excessive speeding around small towns and houses. Mainly because there's kids outside playing and secondly, nothing pisses people off more than being dangerous around their children, which makes them more likely to complain to the police.
  12. Most of us have partaked "Silly Riding" in some sort. Idiots are gonna be idiots, and the best prevention IMO is to be welcoming and not alienating to inexperienced riders. You see a new rider, help them out and try to steer them towards safe riding techniques. Squids are inevitable though. I just avoid their top locations, highway/city/parks. Theres plenty of motorcycle practices I don't agree with but that's the rider's choice. Some choose to not wear a helmet and speed excess of 100mph, others choose to pass on double yellow. It's not a perfect system, but you gotta work with what you got.
  13. Pulled the clutch lever off, cleaned it, and reinstalled. Now, no more squeaking.
  14. +1 on this. @Danimal correct me if I am wrong, but I would say an RX3 is more adventure bike and CRF is more dual sport. You don't see too many CRF250L's with aluminum cases on them.
  15. Great ride today guys. I had a blast. Sucks you didn't have time to ride 536, but I was thinking about you while I rode 536 with practically no traffic
  16. As someone who switched from Iphone to Android, I will say there are some growing pains when transitioning.(Like getting rid of your iMessage account stuff so other iphones recognize you can no longer accept iMessage) Biggest issue I see from your list is the Apple Watch compatibility. They make great android watches, it just sucks since you already invested in the Apple Watch. I am rocking the S8+ right now, had a Note5 before that, and LG G Series before that. I am very happy with the Samsung products. Being that your a techie guy, I see where you will enjoy the customization abilities of the android. The one plus of the new phone plans, no contract is locking you in for 2 years so worse case scenario, you pay off the phone and switch back, sell the phone to recoup any losses.
  17. Ok, I am officially in. I'll meet you guys in New Concord. Got a fellow FJR buddy coming with his FZ1.
  18. THIS. Keeps me thinking....What the hell is he pointing at?
  19. I used to have a PF9. I put several thousand rounds through it without a failure. I switched to a Bodyguard 380 now, wish I would have stayed in 9mm caliber.
  20. This. I'm not a fan of using the phrase "Diet". They are temporary IMO. It takes a lifestyle change to see lasting results.
