  1. I also have a planet fitness membership. I use the 30 minute machines but never follow the 30 minute program. It's kinda funny to watch how attendance at PF will spike in the next month or so.
  2. Got home from my first day at work at my new job to a package of bike parts. I couldn't resist, so I had to test fit the new pegs on the FJR. A little massage work here and there and they should work. Same ground clearance, but a greater distance from the top of the peg to the seat.
  3. I struggled with this when searching for an Accord. I hated the CVT transmission that comes in the 4 cylinder, so I tried the 6 cylinder with a normal automatic transmission. I liked it better, but still wanted the 6 speed manual. I never did find one like I wanted (EX-L with Nav, V6 6 spd). I ended up with a EX-L with Nav, V6 Auto. I'm happy with it. Sport mode with the paddle shifters is fun.
  4. My 2014 V6 Accord coupe is getting 30s mpg on highway. 278 hp, more room too. Running it hard on a twisty road is a different story though.
  5. Imagine the tire threads for it. Do you run a car tire on the rear or the middle?
  6. And I say that, not as a bad thing. I think this is a good market that needs more competition. A bike with room to carry stuff, but not an all out touring bike. I don't see the point of having the H2 SX and a Ninja 1000 though, so i suspect the Ninja 1000 is gonna be phased out.
  7. I had an issue somewhat like this one time. I exported my Gmail contacts to an SD card from my PC, then transferred from the SD card to the phone.
  8. For that much money, you could have someone build a turbo kit for the FJR Seriously though, its a cool bike. Idk if I would call it a full blown sport tourer. More like a sport bike that has luggage.
  9. Here is the size chart. We know Iron Pony isn't going to respond. https://www.sportbiketrackgear.com/ixs-wakefield-leather-suit/
  10. I've switched from riding season gym routine to off season gym routine. Gas station food and eating while traveling has slowed my progress. I've got big plans for the winter though.

    Wow

    +1. I really like this.
  12. Took the FJR out for a nice WV ride today. Made it over to New River Gorge, and finally rode down to the bottom. Wet leaves can be tricky on switchbacks.
  13. I may be in for this. I could meet up at Mcconnelsville if you're coming that way.
  14. I received confirmation for my Saddlesore 1000 today. Finally made official. A slow process for sure.
  15. MSRP in 2000 was $11,999. 17 years later NADA says average retail $2485. Where are the included Hookers and Blow?
  16. Poor Toby... Best of luck to your future endeavors. As someone who currently going through a job change, it's a lot of hassle and uncertainty, but I say it's worth it.
  17. If you're struggling with driving a work truck, I would say a day trip on a sport touring bike is gonna be just as bad if not worse. Yes, they are comfortable, but not without some stress on the body.
  18. Today marks 1 year since I started eating healthy and exercising. Down more than 60 pounds, more muscle strength, and I can now run at a decent pace. I got big plans for the winter, hoping to lose some more and also work on more strength training.
  19. Or electronic suspension.
  20. And throw in travel expenses for several trips.
  21. $25k would get you into pretty much any sport touring bike or adventure bike with room for accessories. Both have been considered the swiss army knife of bikes.
