  1. Perks of living in the middle of nowhere. People are less likely to steal a giant bright red motorcycle, and if a thief could make it through my garage with the lights off at night time, without breaking their neck, more power to them.
  2. If a thief really wants something, they're either gonna take it or destroy it trying. Best bet is to have adequate insurance.
  3. You running an Ohlins or a Penske?
  4. I've tried the online dating. No luck either. Seems like everyone I met on there was either still in their party lifestyle from college or stuck flipping burgers with no motivation to advance their life. I don't need that in my life.
  5. 20k miles and just over 2 years old, my fork oil looked black. I think I am going to do a fork oil swap after each season.
  6. Down 42 pounds since November. Some of my golf buddies from High School are starting to join in on the healthy lifestyle, so I've had workout partners lately. Makes the time go by faster. I've been following a couch to 5k treadmill schedule and weight training on rest days.
  7. +1 on the Motion Pro fork level tool. makes it super simple.
  8. Gonna start moving further south?
  9. I hardly use the remote because I usually turn my Sena on, start the music with my phone. Just use the remote for volume and skipping songs.
  10. I like the 10U handlebar remote location, I just wish the joystick was replaced with buttons.
  11. I was wondering what you were gonna do when you switched to the BMW. A jog wheel and a sena remote on the left bar starts to make it very busy.
  12. It doesn't sound like it was handled well at all. I hate thieves just as much as the next person, but shooting them in the street just isn't worth it.
  13. 3 feet sounds awful close to me. Usually when passing a bicycle, I try to just give them the entire lane and pass them like a car. I know how much a car going by shakes a car on the side of the road, I couldn't imagine a bicycle.
  14. Harley and performance just don't go together. They build cruisers to look good, and have one of the best motorcycle marketing/sales schemes IMO. They sell a ton of bikes and most owners are oblivious to the lack of performance, because they never experienced a bike that performs well, and guess what? They really don't care. Merely looking cool is priority number 1 for some. Sad but true. I've rode a 88 TC, 96 TC, & 103 TC motors, all have plenty enough power and probably too much for their brakes. They have added bigger forks and ditched the air shocks on the newer touring bikes, which should help performance, but at the end of the day, it's a heavy cruiser.
  15. I think the biggest issue EBR/Buell has now is that their life cycle has been like a yo-yo and no one has confidence in the company lasting more than a couple years before it restructures again.
  16. The Triumphs have taken many years to get where there at. I would say they doing pretty well in the sporty standard bike area. I don't expect Harley to hit it out of the park on the first year of any model. Here is what I still drool over every time I see it.
  17. Actually they are sending $100 cards. @2talltim just got his.
  18. I would think walnut shells in a blast cabinet would work pretty good.
  19. Yeah, the mag must be out of the gun and I also unload the mag. Typos...
  20. From what I was told in my class, the firearm and ammunition should be unloaded and not within access. I separated mine, mag in unloaded in center console, firearm in a container (case) in the trunk.
  21. What brand are the rim stripes?
  22. Forks all back together, fork brace installed, and even got to ride it around the block in the snow.
  23. I got a set of bluetooth Bose sport earbuds. Not much difference in price compared to Beats or Jaybirds. They sound amazing for earbuds, but not as nice as my Sennheiser Over-The-Ears.
