  1. If you don't hit all the roads you want, it gives you a good reason to go back again.
  2. A road trip is always fun and exciting. Touring on the Daytona may present some challenges but others here have done it.
  3. Boxed up my seats to send to the seat builder.
  4. I had a FMF slip on for my F4i. It was cheap and it sounded really good.
  5. Good Deal. I got my Yamaha 39L on ebay for $185.
  6. Yes, you need a Sport Tourer. Then it all goes downhill from there.
  7. It took you most of the winter to realize you need another street bike? Paging @what and @Danimal. Someone sell this man a bike.

    Katana Hate?

Well my response would be unfair, since I live in a harley family and work on Harleys on a weekly basis, so I know more harley people and than anything else. I 100% agree with you, they have one of the strongest marketing schemes. I'm not a fan of their product but I see why people buy them.
  9. I ride through Chesterhill all the time (One of my favorite areas to ride) but I haven't stopped at the diner. i will definitely make a stop there.
  10. Welcome! I am also from Athens County, in the big town of Coolville
  11. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has done this. I've made my commute from work to home (~20 miles) without touching the bars except for on ramp loops and stop-turns. You can really learn how much sticking your hand in the wind can move the bike.

    Katana Hate?

They sold 260,000 bikes in 2016. I'd say they're not hated by everyone...
  13. Dang, I'd be all over these if they were longs. I need a set for my LS.
  14. I get cupping issues almost everytime. The new PR4s i used for the Fall Gap trip have lost their shape more than any other tire I have tried on the FJR. Rear tire is feathering bad.
  15. +1 on that. Sport Touring bikes, just chew tires. One of the trade offs of trying to be a f**king race bike and still have comfort
  16. He said his seats are usually 1 inch lower than stock. I have the same issue. Tried a Russell and it was a little tall for me.
  17. Terry's Custom seats out of Tennessee. I've never seen and FJR seat done by him, but I've seen some others and I was really impressed. I considered a Laam but heard too many horror stories of waiting to get the seat back. A Russell was out of my price range.
