  1. "Looks bad as hell, rides great." I'd love to see this. I'm sure the exposed rear tire doesn't leave a skunk line on your back.
  2. Down 38 pounds right now. I've been changing up my workout routine. I mainly used elliptical, but now I am getting better with running on the treadmill. Next up, stationary bike.
  3. I might be in for this. I could meetup at the turn off at 374/33.
  4. You could ride it to the meetup.....Oh wait, you'd have to trailer since it's not street legal.
  5. Welcome! I am from Southeast, Athens County.
  6. Ok, see I have to remove one rotor to clear the arms on my machine (Derek Weaver W-894XS) then re-install rotor before balancing.
  7. Do you remove the rotor(s) to get the wheel on your tire machine? I wonder if that may effect the balance as well. My machine requires remove of the rotor for the bottom side.
  8. Honestly it depends on the tire. Some tires, you line up the dot with the valve stem and they're pretty close to balanced. Other tires, you can be an ounce off. Harbor Freight static balancer is quick and easy.
  9. I just received my seat from Terry's Custom Seats. I can't wait to try it out.
  10. A day on the motorcycle is always a good day.
  11. Just got the tracking number for my seats. Should be back to being able to ride Monday.
  12. He was giving out free samples at the June gap trip.
  13. Yeah no kidding, I got about 30 tires at the house right now. Luckily the tire shop is about 5 miles from my house. 2 bucks a tire to get rid of them.
  14. Ordered a set of LED flood lights for the FJR.
  15. E-check? Glad I live down here in the boonies. The new exhaust system on my truck has no cats and high flow muffler. Got rid of that evap crap too.
  16. I always like riding all day with just snacks and granola bars, then enjoy a dinner at the end of the day. I worry more about hydration than eating.
  17. Sorry all this talk kept bringing flash backs
  18. I did not impact or do anything to damage them. I didn't ride my K-bike nearly as hard as I do the FJR. Half a liter of oil per fork. It failed enough to have a small hole that sprayed like a mist when working the forks. You can defend all you want, but I am telling you a real world experience. The telelever system, like other forks, can have failures over time. Also depending on the year of the bike, they used multiple manufacturers, which use different fork seals. Must not be a perfect system if they changed them.
  19. Even if you fight and win, you could still have to pay court costs and you have to take a day off work. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes....(We've all done it though)
