  1. This looks really cool, but we have the SEO FJR Ramble in Marietta that weekend.
  2. I always just went by varying RPM. I don't take a bike to redline much anyways, so that isn't much of an issue for me.
  3. I had to get out and enjoy some SEO roads. Weather sucked so I took my car (2014 Honda Accord V6 Coupe). This was my first time testing the handling of my new car. The paddle shifters were fun to play with, suspension a little soft but not bad.
  4. Not sure, haven't had the chance to cross the border yet.
  5. It's a website where you select all the states you have visited and it auto fills a map in with different colors and you can save the map as an image. I can't remember the name, but I just Googled "states visited map generator"

    My 2014 FJR1300A

Yeah it has cruise. I did not get the electronic suspension though.
  7. Welcome! The MSTA guys seem pretty cool. I've been meaning to go to their local meeting sometime (Parkersburg, WV).
  8. If you do this, try to ride over to Burkes Garden. It's a great place to sit back and admire the mountains and it has amazing roads.
  9. Sounds like an awesome route. Hungry Mother State Park is a very nice area and has a cool beach on the lake.
  10. I've never had issues with mine in the rain. My SMH10 has been in some big storms without issue, and my 10U is all internal.
  11. Eclipsed the 25 lbs lost mark today. The last week and a half has been like a brick wall. Weight just stayed the same, but I kept pushing harder in the gym and started losing again.
  12. I don't need any more apps that use data. I go out in the country where there is no service to enjoy the roads (I now have a SPOT tracker in case I am in trouble). Heck my Sena is used just for music 95% of the time. I can see this being a cool feature, but sounds like more hassle.
  13. The man who would stop at nothing. It's a good book about long distance rider John Ryan.
  14. You need to join assistance list. It's free and and simple to sign up. http://www.assistancelist.com/
  15. A friend of mine started on a vstar 650 as her first bike. Affordable and very low seat height for short legged people.
  16. I knew this was coming when Polaris started pushing Indian big time. I've worked on some Victorys, and for the price point, the quality wasn't there.
  17. Another news article feeding "The Sky is Falling" information. If someone is determined to hurt someone or something, they're gonna do it. I hate news, I avoid it at all costs. I'd rather be happily oblivious than worry about shit that might happen to me. As far as the treatment of the Vets. I'm all for whatever the Vet wants. Some of that stuff is not a simple fix. They made great sacrifices to be in that position, and I am forever grateful for them.
  18. I am selling my Smith and Wesson M&P 40 Compact. I traded for this gun a few years ago from a Sheriff in Cincinnati. He bought it has a secondary carry gun, but said it was too big for an ankle holster. I have a better carry gun, so this one just sits. It has a low amount of rounds shot through it. Comes with carrying case, 2 mags, and a brand new alien gear IWB holster. $400 no trades.
  19. I noticed the gym crowd is already starting to thin down already. I am very close to the 25 lbs lost mark. Haven't been losing as much with weight training mixed i with my cardio, but I can feel the difference in my arms, shoulders, and waist.
