I'm about to strangle the people at Samsung. They swore to me last week I would have my phone back by Friday, now their saying 4-5 business days. Finally talked to a manager, explained my situation, and their gonna overnight it to me so I have my phone for the trip.

My gosh, keeping that much on a sd card is insane. Redundancy is key. Multiple hard drives, multiple locations.

When I slab south, I take 77 to Charleston, then 119 to 25E. Both are secondary highways with very little truck traffic.

Just to let anyone know who hasn't been in this area, once you get to Beckley, everything turns into amazing motorcycle roads. 421 is one of the best. Time permitting, id love to ride it.

Looks like Shoei may be replacing the Qwest with a new lid. The Shoei RF-SR. They claim it will be quieter and flow more air than the Qwest. As a previous Qwest owner, I would be surprised if it is quieter. .

You've never seen too much, until you see my parents travel. They bring beach chairs, the waffle maker, you name it.

FJR bags are 30L each, which is plenty IMO. I can pack almost all my clothes in one side bag, other side is just random stuff. Top case is for GoPro stuff, laptop, snacks, etc. It is just the 39L. The 55L givi is huge though.

Yeah I don't storage space is an issue for me either...

The Graves fender eliminator doesn't look bad IMO.

Well i was running into the same issue. Ordered a set of Klim Agressor 1.0 glove liners on Amazon Prime for 20 bucks last night. We'll see how they go. I also got a set of Goretex winter gloves, but they're bulky.

Light bulb moment! I could always use my 7 inch tablet with my tablet ram mount It would look ridiculous, id rather be lost.

I also still carry a paper map for WV, plus I got butler maps I can bring with me in case.

Right now, expected delivery date is Thursday. They told me it has been repaired, waiting for QC (Should be done by Tuesday), then a 2 day ship. My luck with electronics is not going too well. TV repair is being scheduled now... I got Sygic on the Iphone, but right now I wouldn't feel comfortable leading a group with it. My android version is the Pro with turn-by-turn. The iphone is on free version and the screen is so tiny, its hard to read.
