So I've been wanting to make this trip all summer and yesterday I finally got to do it. @thompsonian, his uncle, and I all left yesterday morning from Parkersburg to make an epic one day loop through some West Virginia mountains.Weather was perfect, low traffic, and no phone signal. Couldn't ask for more. My total mileage for the trip was 427 miles, but they were awesome miles. Here are some pics from the trip.

I sure miss my F4i. Mine was an 01 with 30k miles,and was due for a cam chain tensioner when I sold it. Great bike, more comfortable ergos than an RR IMO. Height issues never bothered me, 30 inch inseam, you get used to it.

Looks like I should be good for this trip. Gonna put in the time off request Monday. I will probably take 119 to Charleston and 77 on the last day.

Got to test the braking ability of the FJR tonight. Bambi decided the road was a better place to stand. It stopped surprisingly good, missed the deer.

Welcome. Older used bikes are just not selling for good value right now IMO. Also, its on the fall end of the season, which is not a good time to sell bikes compared to spring. I'm not sure of the details of the bike(year, mileage, etc), but NADA Clean Retail on a 03 Bandit 600 is right at $2000. I know NADA means nothing on a clean bike (This one looks very clean), but thats how some people consider a bikes value. That bend in the front wheel doesn't help matters. GLWS

That's some good roads down through there. I haven't been this year, but I've ridden them before. Not very many gas stations. Stop by Hillbilly Hotdog in Lesage, WV if you have never been before. It's a sight to see.

No, sadly. They have really separated every brand into their own little areas, which I like. I sat on a new Triumph Thruxton R. I'd love it for a commuter, after work ride bike.

I saw a gray Z125 at Iron Pony Saturday. I first thought it was a Grom until i got close to it. Had a sold sign on it.
