  1. Good! You don't need a supersport anyways.
  2. Well we have been tricked. Here is the 2nd teaser video. The reveal date now says 10.13.16
  3. I may have some knowledge on changing tires on FJRs
  4. I know it sounds silly, but I didn't consider the Connie because it didn't have cruise control. It does have features the FJR doesn't have like keyless ignition, TPMS sensors, and it has a little better wind protection. I don't think any of the main Sport Tourers are a bad choice (FJR, Connie, VFR, K-Bike, Sprint, etc)
  5. +1 on this, Best bet is to shoot for a Gen2/Gen3, and become an expert at changing tires.
  6. The 3 generations have alot in common, 03-05 were GEN1, 06-12 GEN2, and 13-16 are GEN3. GEN2 were know to have access heat in the leg region. GEN3 comes standard with cruise control. I have a 2014 GEN3 and love it. I'm not sure what your price range is, but there are dealers with leftover 2015s selling for $10,500 OTD. GEN2 bikes I have seen as low as $4,000. Regardless of year, these bikes are pretty bulletproof.
  7. +1 on this. Insurance Roadside Assistance has been sub-par with Geico. AAA or AMA roadside assistance is worth considering.
  8. Been with Geico, then Progressive, and now with Dairyland. Seems like every year I call around and find something a little cheaper. Turning 25 this year lowered mine $20 a month, i still pay $600 a year with no claims and one ticket.
  9. Just to throw this out there. If anyone needs recon on a road or route in the SEO area, or just would like a route, I would be happy to help.
  10. Hockingport to Reedsville got repaved this spring.
  11. Sorry guys, i tried...
  12. That hotel is fairly new. Definitely out of bluetooth range and very close to the local donut shop, JR's Donut Caste. http://jrsdonutcastle.com/
  13. I guess I should have shared some of my favorites. 26 from Marietta, 565, 78 West of 77, 377, 144, 329, 775, 141, & 681. I use motorcycleroads.com alot. I just start hitting random roads and usually stumble into something good. I'm spoiled living in SEO, so take my opinion like a grain of salt.
  14. If that's it, there's an omelette shoppe and a BBQ place within walking distance.
  15. Did you see the leaked photos from the UK? Looks like it might have some sort of touch screen on the back.
  16. He needs more reasons to throw away his street fairings for the Triumph and buy a sport tourer.
  17. Tomorrow is the big day, I'm gonna call R6 inline 4 (Non-crossplane) abs, quickshifter, IMU for R1, and styled like R1, but with different headlights.
  18. Must have been some paving done cause that section was really rough. You can't compare TN/NC roads with Ohio roads, they're just vastly different IMO. I like 555, just not my favorite Ohio road.
  19. Let's be honest here, if people are making this kind of trip, this far away, in the mountains. The words "Waterproof" and "Goretex" needs to be in your gear vocabulary. Regardless of forecast.
  20. Congrats on the new bike!
  21. You know you want a sport tourer. Winter is coming, deals will be available.
  22. Poor Tim, he is gonna keep getting crap until his makes the Triumph a full blown track bike and buys a Sport Tourer.
