  1. Hockingport to Reedsville got repaved this spring.
  2. Sorry guys, i tried...
  3. That hotel is fairly new. Definitely out of bluetooth range and very close to the local donut shop, JR's Donut Caste. http://jrsdonutcastle.com/
  4. I guess I should have shared some of my favorites. 26 from Marietta, 565, 78 West of 77, 377, 144, 329, 775, 141, & 681. I use motorcycleroads.com alot. I just start hitting random roads and usually stumble into something good. I'm spoiled living in SEO, so take my opinion like a grain of salt.
  5. If that's it, there's an omelette shoppe and a BBQ place within walking distance.
  6. Did you see the leaked photos from the UK? Looks like it might have some sort of touch screen on the back.
  7. He needs more reasons to throw away his street fairings for the Triumph and buy a sport tourer.
  8. Tomorrow is the big day, I'm gonna call R6 inline 4 (Non-crossplane) abs, quickshifter, IMU for R1, and styled like R1, but with different headlights.
  9. Must have been some paving done cause that section was really rough. You can't compare TN/NC roads with Ohio roads, they're just vastly different IMO. I like 555, just not my favorite Ohio road.
  10. Let's be honest here, if people are making this kind of trip, this far away, in the mountains. The words "Waterproof" and "Goretex" needs to be in your gear vocabulary. Regardless of forecast.
  11. Congrats on the new bike!
  12. You know you want a sport tourer. Winter is coming, deals will be available.
  13. Poor Tim, he is gonna keep getting crap until his makes the Triumph a full blown track bike and buys a Sport Tourer.
  14. Ordered a case of Royal Purple, got filters, just need some crush washers. Gonna order a new PR4GT for the rear. Fall Gap Trip prep has begun.
  15. I think what helps me is getting into a rhythm. If you're relaxed and having fun, your less likely to screw up or panic. Following an experienced rider to work on your lines will help too. After this last weekend, I feel my riding skill has progressed as far as line selection goes. I spent an entire day following a faster rider than me, which helped me work on corner entry (my weakest skill IMO).
  16. Not to rain on everyone's parade, but the new river gorge area is going to be severely busy Saturday the 15th. That is "Bridge Day". So plan your time accordingly and expect bumper to bumper traffic around 60/16/19.
  17. I got on 16 off 33 around Arnoldsburg/Milstone area on Thursday. It was decent pavement and the morning traffic wasn't bad. The further south, the better it gets. I may have changed my mind, and just go down 16.
