Done deal. It's funny how you get used to jacked up tires. It felt like a whole different bike with the new shoes. I also used this as an opportunity to replace the rear pads that were iffy due to me doing dumb shit with motor oil.

I need some new tires for my GSX-S. Is there anybody that is cheaper/better than Iron Pony around CBUS? I'll pull the wheels off but I don't want to mess with trying to mount and balance the tires myself.

I walked around my bike a couple of times while doing chores in the garage. The plan was to get stuff done and then head out for a couple of hours. The wife came home with a "screaming" deal on some Arborvitaes that HAD to be purchased and planted today or the world was going to end.

Lately I've been getting the itch to pick up an AR pistol just for giggles. What's the best bank for the buck out there? I've been out of the AR platform game for a while. It used to be stick to ABC (Armalite, Colt, Bushmaster) and you were good. That's probably not the case any more. I've been reading a bunch on AR15.com but most of those guys roll their own. 2nd question. Is 300 blackout worth the extra up front and ammo cost?
