  1. Seriously, go drive a VW Passat before you buy!
  2. I'd recommend you go drive a VW Passat! You can get a new R-line for $25k, even a well optioned SE w/tech car is $27k. Used they are VERY cheap. 36-42+ MPG and a large backseat/trunk. Not to mention tank range is better than anything posted so far.
  3. They'll probably try to fix it since it's so new and he's going to be stuck with a ruined NEW car...
  4. Welcome and post pics!
  5. Hard to believe I'm an old guy on here and at work...
  6. Which wheels? When I lived in Houston we got truck loads of them from Arlington with the 22" setups and no issue. Is that something they do locally in Ohio?
  7. I was pretty happy with Performance Auto Spa on the NW side of town..
  8. Yes sir! Came out with my daughter for a bit and when it got HOT we decided to head home early. Hope to come out to more stuff and meet more of you. It's nice having some time for Motorsport events again.
  9. Nice meeting everyone and looking forward to the next gathering!
  10. Thanks Anthony and family for putting it on and thank your daughter Jordan for hanging with my daughter while I made a few passes. 😎👍🏻 Nice seeing a few old friends and meeting a few new. Jared, Aaron, etc..only been about 10-years+ since I've been back in town. Didn't do great with the heat but it was a nice baseline for my DD with car seats and all inside. Looking forward to the cooler rental in September...😁
  11. Is it first come first serve or signup order since I've got an AWD?
  12. I missed it, where is the dynoday thread/info?
  13. Lots of fun stuff to do, just depends on the dates. Second City Comedy Club is always fun, Blue Man group, etc. if you want shows. Any of the museum, art stuff as most have recommended. Navy Pier The new http://theskydeck.com/ is cool if you want to stand on flexi/glass and look straight down from the top of the Tower... 3-day recommendations- http://travel.usnews.com/Chicago_IL/things-to-do/3-day-itinerary/ Use to be called the Observatory but they've made it more touresty now... http://www.360chicago.com/
  14. Tell me about it, this market is stupid and idiots are only making it worse. We've lost out on three homes and all sold for well over asking price. These morons are waving the appraisal and in some cases the inspection which is suicide. The one house I really wanted we offered $10k over asking and lost by $2k. The kicker is it was bought by someone as an investment house under a conventional loan and now he's trying to rent it for $2,500 a month...lol. I agree,....I don't see how this many people can afford the housing at these prices. To many overpaying IMO and they are going to default if they can't move it in a few years. I understand Columbus is growing and many jobs here but don't see how many of those jobs can support a $400-600k+ mortgage. If our latest offer doesn't work out I'm leaning to buy a foreclosure or cheap place and just rack up more cash.
  15. What about an S2000 or a LS-Miata?
  16. I had planned to attend but will be in Cleveland for work that night. Sounds like a KICK ASS event though... :fuckyeah:
  17. Welcome! No, SN-Cobra's have always had a Mustang in the front grill opening.
  18. Call Performance Auto Spa, they carry a lot of detail products. I'd think they would have one if anyone.
  19. Looks a lot better, nice work!
  20. So this is my first event since moving back to Ohio. Do you guys all chip in for food and drinks or is it a BYOB type of event? Anything else I can bring or do to help out?
