  1. Depends how it all plays out with the numbers. Was planning to just keep ours and take the cash but if the buyout is high enough, I may just let them have it and get something else. We'll see...
  2. As long as you keep it small you could do it fairly cheap. If you want to make it a big event is when things get hairy. The insurance is the killer. I can tell you when Texas expanded the city now requires a ridiculous amount of insurance at Beeville so it's driven prices up. If you can get away with $1-2M coverage it wouldn't be so bad. I looked into it a bunch when a friend was getting the Houston Mile started. The hardest part is securing the airfield, once you have that it just takes time and people setting everything else up.
  3. That's my favorite color on the Gen-II's! I still remember the one on here back in the early 2000's with Nitrous on it.. :fuckyeah:
  4. I'd order a couple more,...fuck that neighbor....sounds like a complete tool bag!
  5. Stripped model like a GT350 "R" will be under 3,600....$20 or BW3's and beer next time I'm in Ohio?
  6. Nothing you listed has a 3rd row besides the minivans. Look for a Honda Pilot/Acura MDX if that's a must. If you don't need the 3rd row and just want something roomy with great mileage then pick up a used VW Passat TDi right now while the market is low.
  7. If it's cost effect, I'd say YES for sure!
  8. Nice choice! :fuckyeah: She's going to be faster than you... :lolguy:
  9. If it's a bare bones model Z28 I'd say closer to 3,500 with the new ATS based chassis. It has more to do with a mass produced car that they want maximum profits from. They could make it out of lighter materials but it's not cost effective. Also, a lot of federal safety requirements force things to be on the cars that weren't in the past (seat belts, air bags, ABS, ESC, TPMS, safety glass, crumple zones, side impact beams, roof crush standard, etc etc and next required on all cars by 2018...back-up camera's), and it all adds up in the weight department.
  10. Just throw some dirt on the cars and then turn on your sprinklers so he's got to detail them every time he parks in front of your house. That or get some wheel dollies and roll his junk even further down the street (or in a ticket/tow area). If that doesn't work, hide his car somewhere in the neighborhood so he's got to go look for it. Get some retarded bumper stickers "I LOVE HILLARY" or some shit and put one on every car he parks in front of your house. Seriously, a million things you could do that would give him a clue.
  11. Yep,...I fucked it up...I didn't lose any sleep. Won't be the first or last time I jack up some grammar in life or online...
  12. They couldn't get it to pass emissions, that's why the Z06 got a supercharger.
  13. If he has a lean on the vehicle you should be dealing with his bank directly. Call them and tell them what's up and wire them the money and have THEM send you the title directly. They should do all the leg work for you and then once the lean is cleared and he has his funds, then the shipper takes the car and he never sees the title again. You should have a bill of sale and all documentation from the bank to protect yourself. If there is no lean then you are at the mercy of the seller if you send him money.
  14. I didn't realize it was Mark's. Who was running the other and what did it run? Both Auto's?
  15. What did the Gen-VI Camaro's run? ..and new CTS-V?
  16. CTS-V I could see all day but the new Camaro is freaking TINY in the back seat. I'm honestly shocked how much smaller the car is then the Gen-V.
  17. Yes but have you tried it in the Gen-VI? It's considerably smaller in the backseat. I guess you can move the passenger seat all the way forward if no one is riding with you two.
  18. We've still got ours and LOVE it.....but either way it's a win IMO. If they want to buy it back for full retail price.....GREAT! If they want to give me $5k....GREAT! I got 50.3mpg on the way home from work tonight. I'll either keep it and run it until it dies or get paid and go car shopping...whatever. Honestly, the EPA are far bigger crooks than any car company.
  19. As much as I LIKE the new ZL1, I just don't see you fitting a car seat in the backseat of it. If you're going to spend that much, look at the new Grand Sport... http://racecarthings.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/2017-chevrolet-corvette-grand-sport-001-1.jpg
  20. Here's a pic of it at Cars and Coffee...
  21. There are a few around or look for a roller you can do a Coyote swap on... A buddy of mine here in Houston STOLE a Teal '93 COBRA for that. I just don't see you happy with one of those older cars Paul. I could see you building something newer and junkyard LS swapping it to hurt some feelings.
  22. I like the GOLF R a lot since it's AWD and DSG in the US. Had a coworker set on buying one until he started looking at the prices dealers were charging in Houston. For a few grand more he ended up getting the S3 with all the goodies which also is a VERY nice looking car and performance sedan for a DD.
  23. What other Blues are available on the GT4? If you were in Houston, I'd say you followed me home the other night.. Saw an identical car but the blue looked a shade or so darker here at dusk.
