I feel the exact same way about the color choices. You better nip that second part quick or it's just going to get out of hand and cause more problems. Sounds like they are already at the point where they expect it. That will be a fun setup, should get you in the 9's pretty easy. Are you planning on E85 or is it not common at pumps in your area?

I agree but it's a sign of the times. The GTR isn't the only one...Ferrari, McLaren, Bugatti, etc...have a lineup with auto "only" cars. Even the new Vette is going to have an 8-speed auto option. They have proven themselves and that's what a lot of people want these days. Some think it takes away from the driving experience....meh...

I wouldn't race it if it's true stock motor. That's a time bomb waiting to go off... But....how about 450+hp/liter.... :lolguy: From the guy that hasn't even run in the 10's trying to bash "stock" GT-R times.

My thoughts on a TRUE "KOTS" competition if you are going to do a dyno hp/liter crap is to have TRUE STREET events. Straight line speed is only one aspect. How about a points system for each category: 1) 1/4-mile ET 2) 1/4-mile speed 3) Braking 60-0 4) Slalom 5) Auto-X 6) 1-Mile speed 7) Street Cruise/Creature comforts 8) mpg 9) 60-130 times Etc..etc.. Anyone can build a purpose build DRAG car/setup but how about a TRUE STREET machine... Other events like Texas don't require a full build. You can get away with a lot until you get 200+ speeds in a car...

Correct, retooling for the Ram which was/is in current production and the 300 was a ground up design new platform which was planned from the beginning...

New technology and development costs passed onto the consumer. The old technology stuff is cheaper to build and they are trying to move it....
