  1. I forgot to ask Kirk, are you looking at the 2013 Viper any or not interested?
  2. Nice pick-up! I keep looking at them, just can't decide on getting another Mustang. Looking forward to your thoughts on the car and what kind of times you run. Did you hold out for below MSRP or lock in a MSRP order deal?
  3. Thankyou for that info.. So with a built motor and increased redline it'll go pretty good. I wonder how stable it is above 170+...hmm...
  4. Yep, great car but price is to high! He should bargain lower if he really wants it. Problem is they are pricey to repair so make sure he gets an extended warranty.
  5. What are these cars geared for from the factory? Top speed in 5th and 6th?
  6. ...and that is why I'll never buy another one. You are talking about a car based on the Fox body that more than shows its age. It can be fixed but you are talking a LOT of mods. The only problem is if the miles are that low and the car doesn't feel right it was probably a wreck rebuild. Not saying it was but typically if things don't seem right something is WRONG. Cowl shake or not, I have never been in a SN95+ Mustang that rattled as much as a C4 Corvette. Good luck buying another one of those... If you want a solid, well built car that you won't hate....you've got to spend the money. There are not many cars built today that even at 5-years+ old aren't already feeling dated compared to MOST new cars these days...
  7. I'd rock an RS or ST as a DD if they were AWD....when will FORD understand they will NEVER be popular as long as they are FWD...
  8. Fake thread or not, not much credit given to the '01 cars when really they aren't that bad. They will still run great with basic mods and a driver like almost anything in that category. Many have gone 11's with bolt-on's N/A... Hard to argue when comparing it to a Termi. Then again, I loved my '03 but would never buy another one. It all depends on your purpose for the car....if you are going to gut it for a kit car down the road, it won't matter which you choose...
  9. Wish I had a copy of one that happened when I was in Africa. It probably would be 2nd or 3rd in that clip...lol.
  10. I'd stay away from a GXP only because it's a Pontiac and no longer in existence. They are high $30k's and slowly going down.....most are low-$40k's...
  11. Am I reading that correct? You made 517whp on 17psi pump gas and 400whp on 18psi with C16?
  12. How many miles a year do you plan to drive when in town? I wouldn't waste the money on a used E55 AMG. Get a Acura TL, TSX, ILX, etc. or something that is decent with a WARRANTY that you won't spend money on and can pay off quick. When you get some cash saved up and other things inline, then look for a toy. $25k on a car with no warranty and higher maintenance costs is setting you up for problems IMO.
  13. That's because UGR has done lots of trans and software upgrades to improve the factory shifting...
  14. Now that looks FUN! Why can't they build a factory car with that power/weight...
  15. How does one go from a $40k+ Denali to now barely have the budget for a $25k used car?
  16. Agreed....the new 991 Turbo is going to be NASTY!
  17. LOL...gotta love a night of racing for McChickens.. :lolguy:
  18. IMO sales will continue to drop. They just aren't practical anymore for young kids/adults like they were. Gas prices are higher, insurance is higher, less room, etc...most kids now want a 4-door or something more economical. The other side is parents think Mustang and speed which doesn't translate well from past history. The young adults that once bought them would rather have a BMW, Audi, Acura, etc...for a business car or family car. The days of packing kids into the back of a cheap 2-seater are over...
  19. It was 99-04 (00 & 02's were only built in Australia) except the 00 Cobra R in the USA.
  20. In TX they just freeze your license, registration, inspect, etc. renewal so you can't do anything without paying your fine FIRST. Otherwise you get hit with more and more fees the longer you wait/delay....
