  1. ...and even then it's really not much cheaper unless you have to have the SVTPP and TP...
  2. So the car in the video is the road racer and the blue one is the drag setup...gotcha.. No, it's not the slicks but the fact that it won't run those times without them. And it's running those times on 93-pump fuel? GetGo sells what type of fuel locally again... LOL...at the ignorance part...
  3. +1 Get rid of the retarded Bumble Bee Camaro... :dumb: ...and send the ZL1 off!
  4. I can ride my bike in the rain and safely. I've done it many times and when I was in the military had a bike as my only transportation at several points (even rode my old BUSA in the snow...which I don't recommend). ....and no haven't seen it in person and don't need to. So we are clear, which car are you talking about pics or vid? Don't be confused I think it's cool just not interested in owning one. The reason I call it a one trick pony is because it's on SLICKS and running what type of race gas? Your idea of a street car DD is different than mine is all. If those things do it for you, have fun and don't let my opinion tell you otherwise.
  5. To many factors to say that, not to mention not all shops have a sealed bay just for tint... ....and it's flipping tint, not a paint job!
  6. Does no one do travel/on-the-spot tint in Ohio? Heck, we've got guys that will come to your home/work and do it in the parking lot. They prefer it so there is no liability and car doesn't even have to move...
  7. I wouldn't feel dumb at all, that car has pretty much one purpose and nothing else. Not to mention it's not running those times on the street without slicks and race gas. Again, one trick pony to me is not impressive... So what is the purpose and what are we comparing? Is it the times or car type or what? That's why I say it doesn't do anything for me because other than a drag car it's just...meh.. It's still a cool and quick little car but I just can't get thrilled about owning something like... ...and I can still DD my bike 100% street-able!
  8. Again, the cars are cool but I would never be interested in something like that. It's one thing if it were running 7's or 8's but it's a full on drag car that I can't use daily and honestly would rather drive a bolt-on GT-R running the same times (or quicker)...
  9. UGR didn't call him out....I believe Wiggs pretty much said he could beat any UGR car (before his was even built/driven/tested) and Jamie gladly stepped forward to accept the challenge...
  10. Call around Kirk, you can probably find what you want on a lot for MSRP or less now. MANY dealers are dealing on them if you shop...
  11. Glad to see some pics, sad to hear about the fatality on Sunday though...
  12. They are quick but its tough for me to get excited about either of them...
  13. People are idiots that pay that crap! MANY have bought them for MSRP or less will no haggling...
  14. Don't be confused, I actually like the BRZ but wouldn't own any on that list because they are just to slow.... If I am buying a track car, I don't car about a drivers car....I would buy what would be the fastest for the class I want to run (stock/modded)...PERIOD! By the way, nice car and keep posting info about it!
  15. In case anyone missed it.... Last night at Milan private owner ran 11.8 @ 123 stock! With drag radials he went 11.2 @ 128mph stock! Evolution Performance with bolt-on's (stock blower) went 10.02 @ 141mph this morning!
  16. Check out the latest MotorTrend, they have a big bargain shoot out with all the latest cheap thrills. Finishing order #6 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T R-spec Lap times-1:29.12 #5 Volkswagen GTI 1:31.47 #4 Ford Mustang V6 1:29.09 #3 Mazda MX5 Miata 1:31.88 #2 Scion FR-S 1:31.15 #1 Subaru BRZ Limited 1:30.32 Mustang was the fastest and best bang for buck but BRZ won....
  17. Tons of BUSA guys with over 50k, and many over 100k on stock engine....
  18. Same for me... Glass roof sounds cool but not for the price and 25-30lbs extra. Audio/Shaker mods aren't worth what you can get aftermarket... Now, I'd probably have to have the electronics package because you can't get dual zone climate control without it. That crap doesn't fly with the wife and my temperature differences...lol.
  19. A quick rundown: Base $54,995 coupe (Convertible- $59,995) + SVT Performance Pack- $3,495 = $58,490 + SVT Track Pack- $2,995 = $61,485 + Glass Roof- $1,995 = $63,480 + Electronics Package- $2,340 = $65,820 + Recaro Seats- $1,595 = $67,415 Shaker audio also but then again, who buys one with EVERY option? Give me PP, TP, and Recaro's... $63,080 (Invoice just above mid-$50k's)
  20. Depending on the bike, you should be VERY low miles (under-2k) for that price...
  21. It is ($54k-base, depends on options), and dealers charging ADM's are stupid. To many cars being built and to many people already have locked in orders/deals at MSRP or less. These aren't going to be rare by anymeans....just depends who wants to be first on the block with one. From the sound of things, its to late. Many already delivered....one dynoed 613whp bone stock with 95-miles today... http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/2013-shelby-gt500-413/852318-dyno-time.html
  22. What are you looking for? $7,500 can buy you just about anything that's a couple years old...
  23. That's pretty much what I'd go with also but I'm in the same boat. Why get another toy that I'm just going to pay for it to sit in the garage. I don't have time for anything right now...
