The scene has always been pretty strong down here. I've told people that when comparing but most don't want to hear it. I wouldn't exactly agree with the house comment though. Yes, you can get large square footage for cheap but the house/neighborhood/schools aren't always quality depending on the builder (plus you don't have basements). Taxes are 3-4% of the value so that may or may not be cheap for some. What area are you looking at?

Ya, the General Lee ZR1 is bad ass.....the owner built it for the Gold Rush run. Lots of pics and info around about it from a while back...

+1 I'd rather a stock ZR1/Z06 exterior with money in performance. Those looks don't do it for me...and for the price I think it's a complete waste.

I saw that, still can't believe they made a lame commercial out of some dudes driving an R8 in the snow. I could care less about LEASING an A4 even with there mind games. I bet they get all sorts coming in wanting to lease an R8 for that price...lol...."but I saw it on the commercial!"

It could be that much or more if you aren't careful shopping around. Seems the Amish can do bigger for right around $30k. You could have a 40x60 dream shop for $40k+...

Some don't want the footage out of who beat who for betting purposes. Sometimes things get pretty nasty with track side wagers... Some can't....but I wouldn't mess with the serious guys.....others are just dirty south ghetto.... I couldn't help but laugh since I've raced at many of those tracks. Aberdeen MS is one of my funniest memories of an 1/8-mile track and the shutdown sucks. Don't mess up unless you like barbed wire fence and trees...

Depending what part of Columbus, the Amish is probably the best way to go. Several people on garagejournal that have used them and things turned out NICE!
