  1. Honestly, you aren't going to find much for that price. It's going to have a lot of miles or rough for that price so I would look at something newer and cheaper (under warranty) for the money.
  2. Hennesseys warranty....LOL....let me know how that works out for you! There are people that still can't get parts they PAID for from him let alone warranty work...
  3. Those two cars aren't even in the same ball park. If you are over 6' you are going to feel like you are in a cramped up go-kart driving the Civic. Everything in them is base...base....base model cheap crap! The TL is in a completely different league, size, materials, quality, etc... How much are you looking to spend? $10k, $20k, ? If you just want something to drive to from work and could care less about the drive/power I would look at a TSX also. If you want a little more power you can get a V6 TSX or TL which aren't bad. Still nothing to even compare as a performance car....they are NOT! They are both nice daily drivers and that's about it... Go sit in them, look at them, and drive them.....you will laugh at this thread comparing them!
  4. To bad he's a crook and you can do the same mods for 1/4 what he charges...
  5. WTF....you get two free a year (defensive driving and probation), what did you do?
  6. Depends on the state. Down here, if you can't turn off the airbag I think it's illegal to have a child under a certain age in the front seat (then again on a 2-seat car you don't have a choice). Just check your local laws/rules for kids.
  7. Get a traffic lawyer and fight every one of them...
  8. This is why you have to have written contracts and legal terms because some peoples word doesn't mean shit anymore. If people would do what they say, we wouldn't have these kind of problems...
  9. +1 OP, you're acting like a douche. If you don't make it right, I hope he gets you fired since you think you should beat his ass for your YOUR mistake. Maybe you can explain to your boss/work what happened and see if they don't laugh in your face... :gtfo:
  10. Maybe they drive an unreliable POS and don't feel safe taking it out of town... Besides, it's actually cheaper in the long run. Think about it: 1. You don't put miles on your car. 2. No maintenance for the extra distance. 3. If you have a problem or break down the rental company brings you another (you aren't stuck dealing with repairs or anything). 4. Maybe you are renting a car that gets two or three times the gas mileage as your vehicle (which saves $ on long trips). 5. Depending on your personal insurance it is already covered so no need for the extra coverage through the co. ..etc...etc...there are plenty of reasons... Exactly, it IS Cleveland....maybe he doesn't want his personal car stolen or damaged while he is there...
  11. Are you a USAA or another Credit Union member? Most of them have discounted rates on there sites. Also try the last minute deal links on different rental sites....
  12. I like the Orange also but they seem to be the most popular. The Yellow will be different... http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2555/3750185784_1a0ab3d2ef.jpg http://www.autoguide.com/gallery/d/251045-5/IMG_3125.JPG That car is to heavy and not in the same league...
  13. Says that one is Tim's...what color did Jamie buy?
  14. Not factory and if you are counting that then Shelby had Supercharged cars back in the 60's. Saleen even Supercharged Fox-bodys before the S-351R...
  15. There are a LOT of fake cars out there or people claiming them as Cobra's. So if you really don't know what you are looking at/for proceed with caution. There is a BIG difference so make sure you are getting the right car. Post up the VIN# and/or pics and someone will be able to help you. Starting in 1993 only so pre-93 are not built by SVT. Even the GT500 is developed and built by SVT. They axed the dealer exclusivity program but SVT is still alive and running within Ford. Yep, very nice and clean! Yours?
  16. That white was crazy! A friends Mom had one with the White TOP and interior... I always hated the tape/CD double dash combo. That was borderline stupid trying to load a CD while driving. I'd love to find a clean '98 but there is just so much I would want to change on it....
  17. Good eye.... 94 http://www.stangbangers.com/94_Cobra_Pic1.jpg It's the other way. All had the clock except '98, they removed it for '98+ models. '98 was also the first year of the cup holders in the console instead of the change flap and fold out holder. 98 http://peregrinesupercars.com/Deblasio%2098%20Cobra%20Interior.jpg pre-98 http://image.mustang50magazine.com/f/9626183+w750+st0/m5lp_0706_04z+1998_ford_mustang_cobra+interior_view.jpg
  18. 94-95 had the same hood as a GT. Depending on the condition, it's probably worth it... Bumper, spoiler, headlights, and wheels (17X8 with 255 GS-C tires) were the main exterior differences. Bigger brakes (13" front/11.65" rear), different springs, shocks, sway bars, etc. White face 160mph gauges, steering wheel cover, and a few minor things interior wise. GT40 heads/intake, 1.71RR, 65mm throttle body, 24lb. injectors, electric fan, pulleys, T5 had phosphate coated gears, etc. rated at 240hp. Coupes: 1994 there were 5009 built. 1995 there were 4255 built. http://www.nzmustang.com/buysell/643-07.JPG Any mustang goobs tell what year this one is and how?
  19. They aren't my style but if you like them, that's all that matters. If you are modding it for others to like then you are doing it all for the wrong reason anyway...
  20. Come to Houston to buy then because tons of them for much cheaper. Heck, you can get a Grand Sport for less than that...
  21. I wouldn't consider it a really good deal when you can get new ones for $42k. If you factor in the $4k rebate right now you could get a new 2010 for $38k...
  22. You mean $5k in mods.... I'd still rather have the GTR. The 2012 is a bad bad car...
  23. Depends on the condition and the buyer ok with the miles...
