You must drive a unicorn then because I've driven S4's, M3's, M5's, CTSV, Vette's, Cobra's, Honda's, etc...and they ALL have done it stock and modded. The S4's break the OEM diff carrier/crossmember and it's very common so maybe you aren't launching that hard... You can launch it easy and eliminate a lot but you can still get it if you aren't careful...

Kind of the issue with my wife and a TURBO-BUSA but if I keep it track only, she doesn't care... She wants me to sell it and get another 4-wheel toy though...

Different cars and different drivers.... The car that spun at the start is Jonah (no wing or stripe) LP-560-4. It's an AWD manual car (1 of 3 in the country). The spin happened Saturday afternoon just before dark... Yep, that's him! :bangbang: At the second part... That particular spin vid is Jonah on Sat night and not the wrecked car. People were talking shit but I'm sure it's a little tough hooking 1,800+whp on an unprepared surface (no-VHT or anything). I think the Black one is making a little more than that now. The totaled Gallardo could have been avoided though...

There was also a black one racing owned by the same guy as the other orange that didn't crash. What do you want to know about it? I saw the entire run/crash and I hate to say it but it wasn't the wind. If you see the vid from last years 249/250 runs you'll know why it spun. Unfortunatly this year he didn't have room and went off the pavement. They said he had over $1.2M in the build from start to crash... I've got lots of pics and video just need time to load it.

Bahhh...you should go to Bonneville, that's nothing... Bill has gone 273mph in 1-mile on a BUSA and hopes to break that record this weekend... "Should" key word there. Same with the Viper guys making big power but the transmissions can't hold it. That's the problem with LSR, people are making the power but very few actually make it happen and get results. It's a different animal than a 1/4-mile blast....

There is a jet dragster that comes out. I believe his fastest speed is 324mph! It would be nice to see some faster Vetts out. I don't remember the current speed but last I remember, 211mph was the fastest Vett (C6 Z06) in 1-mile at a sanctioned event like Texas and it was a N/A built car with Nitrous. LG's C6 Z06 went 210mph before that...
