Why would you even bother doing that with a rental property? I would ask the owner BEFORE you do that if you haven't... If you do it anyway, spend the time and $$$ to do it right. Make sure it's 100% epoxy based and not water based. If you don't get the right one it's going to peel up and look like shit so take your time and get the right one. Most of it is in the prep work but a good coating will cover some bad prep also.... I used this brand: http://www.epoxy-coat.com/ The floor looks great and just as good as the day I did it (8-months ago).

When that used chain snaps and takes out your engine cases, you are going to wish you bought a new one for under $200. If you aren't stretched a stock length chain will meet 99% of your gearing changes/needs...

The Viper got ABS starting in 2001 so they do have ABS... I wouldn't get a 1996. I would start with a 2001 if you want a GTS. Honestly for the money and upgrades I would hold off for a 03+ if you don't want to spend a lot. If you plan on beating C6 Z06's without going TT I would start with a 08+ and the upgraded engine... They are hot inside until you do exhaust mods and a few things on the early cars. The later cars aren't as bad but they still get hot inside. The interior is very cheap looking/feeling for the price so if you want luxury the Viper is not it. Essentially if you want to Turbo one it will make 1,000rwhp+ on PUMP gas which not many cars will do... I don't know how much you have in your Cobra but if it's making 600rwhp+ then the Viper better be PERFECT for a trade. Even then, I don't think I could do it. Love the GTS but go drive one any you may change your mind (the peddles are offset)....

Why would you want a used chain and sprocket, especially on a BUSA?
-
If something is wrong you are only going to make it worse when you start spraying it. Get the issues solved and the lost power FIRST or it won't run the proper times with nitrous either...

Very nice Alex! Looks like the Navy is treating you well...

Do you really want to live in a state that doesn't allow that?
-
For those that have been on the Autobahn you won't be able to do that in the US without rebuilding a LOT of roads. We just don't have the same standards here... But until then, add Driver License CLASSES. For instance: D class: Limited to the Right lane only 65mph C class: 75mph max right and middle lane B class: 90mph max A class unrestricted speed fast lane However, fast lane "like" the autobahn is FOR PASSING ONLY. If you aren't passing you can't drive in it... Move to Texas, there is no restriction now...

What was your target A/F ratio? Are you running the GSXR1K short velocity stacks? That map is tuned for ram-air when racing so if you leaned it out on a dyno it will be lean on the street/track. Something is still not right though 142mph...? What are you shifting at? Hell, my stock motor Gen-I trapped 145mph with 30rwhp less than my Gen-II. It's still nosing over on the big end. Have you checked your TPS to make sure you are getting 100% throttle? Again, something is wrong...
-
It was tuned down here in the Texas heat so you might have to tweak it a little bit with your setup. However, it did trap 150+ with my 220lb. azz on board (SWB 200mph setup and gearing). I'd still throw it on the dyno for piece of mind before you race it...

The clutch shouldn't be done with that many passes and miles. I would check the springs/bolts to see if they backed out (there was a TSB for loctite on them). Otherwise the plates should be fine for those miles and passes... Is it throwing FI lights? If so do you know how to jump the plug to get the E-code? If that's what's happening then.... ...my guess is one of the Bazzaz injector plugs isn't making contact and you aren't running all 8-injectors. Otherwise, I really hope you didn't hurt the motor if you were doing street/track runs with the Bazzaz plugged in but no tune... If that doesn't clear it up check the compression. If that is fine, get it on the dyno and check the A/F BEFORE you ride it anymore...
-
How many passes on the clutch? While you have it apart get a real Brock's 1-piece clutch mod with his spring setup. I don't recommend the mix and match combos like you have for that reason.

Any updated runs with the new maps?

Does it cross anyone's mind that it makes your house/neighborhood look like shit? (If you live in a shitty house/neighborhood then disregard)
-
I just emailed you my Bazzaz pump gas map. Give it a try at the dyno and on track and let me know how it runs...
-
PM me your email and I'll send you a Bazzaz map I had done. It will be pretty close and if you are going to the dyno, it would be worth trying for comparison. Just remember it's tuned for racing not a high dyno sheet... You may also want to get some GSXR1K short velocity stacks to try also since you are doing primarily drag.
-
When you don't live in a ****** neighborhood, you will appreciate your HOA more...
-
So you are using the Bazzaz box or ECU editor? If the Bazzaz is plugged in then you are using the slip-on base map that is preloaded and LEANER than stock... :eek2: DO NOT run your bike anymore until you get it tuned, you may have already hurt it...
-
To be honest, the stock filter will make 1-2hp more than a K&N. I would just run the OEM filter unless you do a lot of street riding and have to clean the K&N often. Your gearing should be fine for now until you get your launch and power sorted. I just wanted to make sure you didn't go 18/46 or something. I have a Bazzaz custom map tuned for my bike you can try but it might be a little fat. Anything has to be better than what you are running. You aren't running the base slip-on map that they send in the Bazzaz are you?
-
I can't help but laugh at some of the responses. Glad I don't have neighbors like that...
-
Which clutch mod (Brock's)? Toss the K&N and what rear sprocket are you running? What did you change to from the stock 18/43? You should be in the 150's pretty easy so something is wrong to be down 10mph... What kind of dyno did it pull 172rwhp?
-
+1 A good power washer will make the driveway look brand new. Just make sure you have time because once you start you have to do the entire driveway and it takes a while doing a little at a time...
-
Something is wrong! Have you had it on the dyno or anything...? Post the rest of the slip if you don't mind....
