  1. Congrats Mark... At least you are doing it and not swinging from anothers accomplishments...
  2. I always liked that GT2, what ever happened to it?
  3. I know there was no Z06 in 05 I just copied and pasted the info (my fault). Go look at the changes to the 2011 GT500 (with factory Track Pack option) and you'll have your info. They were both factory stock cars but the 2011 I believe had a roll-cage for magazine testers safety.
  4. I don't have time to find the other link but the Shelby is much improved for 2011. Maybe not faster on every track but very close with LOTS of mod potential... http://www.fastestlaps.com/track20.html 2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR 2:48.6 2008 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 2:51.8 2007 Ferrari F430 Scuderia - 2:54.6 2008 Nissan GT-R - 2:55.6 2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 - 2:57.4 2005 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 - 2:58.2 2011 Ford GT500 - 2:58.4 2010 Chevrolet Corvette GS - 2:58.8 2009 Audi R8 v10 - 2:59.5 2004 Ford GT - 3:00.7 2008 Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z51 3:01.2 2004 Chevrolet Corvette C6 3:03.6 2009 Cadillac CTS-V 3:04.0 2010 Ford GT500 - 3:07.4 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS - 3:09.5
  5. What is your purpose for the car? For the money, NEW I would get a 2011 GT500 with the track pack. If you can drive they will go 11's stock. They have made a LOT of improvements to the GT500 for '11 like aluminum block, suspension, gears, etc. that make the car really handle if you do more than drag. I believe it's actually lapped several tracks quicker than the Z06 as well. Then again, the Z06 is a great car and they are amazing. It just depends what your plan is? If you want looks or something rare, I wouldn't really get either. Hell, in Houston you see Vett's and Z06's like Honda Accords....they are EVERYWHERE! GT500's you don't see nearly as often. If you plan to do drag only or really want to go cheap the 2011 Mustang GT is a great buy and can go very quick with basic mods. Remember if you don't pay INVOICE price or BELOW on either of them you are screwing yourself. To many DEALS on all of these cars in the current market to pay even close to MSRP! Hell, you can get new ZR1's in the $90k's down here. Most dealers are offering $12k off plus the $3k GM cash rebate. For the new GT500/used Z06 price, you can pick up a used 08+ Viper if you want something more different...
  6. Sorry, to hear man just hope you are okay! I wouldn't even sweet a $8k car. Get a good lawyer and get everything that's owed to you. If you were in the hospital for long should come at you to cover all expenses plus some pretty easy. If her insurance won't fork it over via your lawyer then I would small claims her ass for whatever you can. Hell, garnish her wages if you have to...
  7. My wife's coworker has one. Not bad for a big coupe and looks/sounds great but it's not really that fast with the small Ferrari shared V8...
  8. Sure, they are not bad and fun for there size. Mid-high 13's stock...
  9. Did you get the full exhaust with Y-pipe or just slip-on's? Any new numbers with it lowered?
  10. Check out the 550i Sport also but the E55 AMG is a great buy if you can afford the maintenance and upkeep. That or a Audi S4 or RS4, S6, S8. Lots of choices just depends how much you want to spend and can afford to keep it...
  11. At least post the good vids, boost only...
  12. What is quick to you...9's, 10's, 11's, 12's, 13's...?
  13. Do you mean quick or fast? An Alpina B7 is fun or any of the new ones that have the V8-TT or V12-TT which move pretty good for there size. I don't know what you want to spend but the S65 AMG is another good choice. Otherwise, the new Porsche Panamera-Turbo is probably the quickest in the class...
  14. Why do you want to change it? If it's under warranty, it's 100% covered....take it to the dealer for FREE!!!
  15. As sad as it is.....let's just be glad they didn't have children... P.S....next time you see her.... ....the idiot lady!
  16. Not to mention you will loose your A@@ on it financially (same with buying a new 7-series)... What are you looking for or what are your needs?
  17. There is a berm there for the water to drain. That's what launched him airborne... If you search, he also just got out of jail minutes before this happened arrested on several charges....
  18. It's BMW's flagship so if you have a problem you are going to pay. It doesn't matter which one they are ALL costly to maintain (same with the S-class). You can find parts cheaper for them but if you have a problem it's going to add up and if you get the V12 you can just about double those prices... My brother is on his 4th and loves them. If you can afford it they are amazing cars...
  19. His is a 09 or 10 with the cross plane crank...
  20. If you are going to buy one get the latest model you can afford WITH a warranty...
  21. A 10-year old BMW in your price range is going to have the best crash ratings for the money. I wouldn't put my child in anything else to be honest (if that's all you want spend)...
  22. That's cheaper than quotes I got. To bad you aren't closer, I probably would of had you do mine but I already did it...
  23. Do you really want to get sued when your rental contract is up to remove it...? Why not just buy your own house and do it how you want... ....and if you buy that cheap stuff it's going to look like crap! That's not true at all... Another good brand is Wolverine but it's a little more pricey. There is a newer process that is better than epoxy but it will NOT be in your price range.
