  1. Nice curve at 42:40 and I'd like to have that passing power.
  2. Hey, I have a $50 gift card from IP. Maybe I should buy a new bike, too!
  3. Should I buy it, or is it likely to explode?

    no mirrors?

As long as it stays way back, it's good. Maybe I just need more power!

    no mirrors?

One disadvantage that I could imagine is getting the bike through a doorway with bar end mirrors on it. Can those CRG mirrors be pulled in temporarily?

    no mirrors?

Hmm...sounds good. Could a camera replace a physical mirror legally, I wonder.
  7. My brother was an ATC in the Air Force. When he got out, no one would hire him because he didn't have some type of degree! Sometimes when he applied for low level jobs, he was told he was over-qualified. The world is a strange place.

    no mirrors?

Why do some people remove mirrors completely? I mean, that's fine if you want to do it, but when I'm looking at a bike to buy, I want the mirrors on it. And isn't it better to know what's coming up behind you? Stretched and lowered is another thing that I come across. What's the purpose of that?

    moving house

Wow, so NC wins by a longshot. Gump has me scared. Tail of the Dragon is still almost 4 hours away. I did visit Gastonia once, which is close to Charlotte.
  11. At least I can see that something is in there now, and I can now judge the color of the fluid. It's tintled very slightly brown.

    moving house

I might move out of Ohio. If you had a choice, would you choose St. Louis, MO or Charlotte, NC? Can anyone compare the riding experience in either place?
  13. Talk about procrastination. haha I think my scraping sound might be due to an over-filled master cylinder. I've never seen a bubble in the window. I'm planning to bleed some fluid out to get the level a little lower, at least to show the edge of a bubble.

    Cat Cafe

If anyone is interested in helping or hanging out with cats, please consider supporting Ohio's first Cat Cafe. Their Kick Starter campaign is down to the last 68 hours and they are close to being fully funded. The cafe is basically an open environment where people and shelter cats can meet and play. If you become attached, you could even adopt. =^.^= https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/569936254/eatpurrlove-central-ohs-first-and-one-of-a-kind-ca
  16. Question about "cash in hand" to test ride: Does that mean you hand over the full amount in cash to the seller to hold while you test ride? That seems risky. (Also, cash seems risky because there could be some counterfeit bills?)
  17. Ah, I didn't think about the age of the helmet. (I have thought about how styrofoam cups don't biodegrade supposedly. Not sure what makes a helmet degrade.)
  18. The stuff that comes with it seems compelling, doesn't it?
  19. OK, does this one look like it isn't a scam like most of the other cheaper ones I find? heh 2012 Honda CBR 600RR with 5 Miles!
  20. I'm into the beginning of my 2nd year of riding. I don't have to think to move my foot while I'm riding. I'm thinking about it now so that, if there's a better way, I can start to ingrain it. I can't adjust the shift lever closer or further. I can only move it higher or lower. Since I got the bike, I've moved it lower. Otherwise I have to use muscle tension to hold my foot over the lever when I'm about the press down.
  21. The Gixxer, that's what I thought. Not totally sure about the FZ, but it's suspicious that it was repainted with a flat paint. I really need someone to help me with my shopping. haha
  22. Opinions? I guess the downside to posting these is that, if they are great deals, someone's going to take them from me. heh GSXR600 2006 - $2513 fz6r 6k miles - $2500
  23. This is from Kawasaki: Front Brakes Single 290mm petal-type disc with two-piston hydraulic caliper, ABS
  24. The Ninja 300 does not have linked brakes at all as far as I know. If we were not so far apart, I'd let you test my front brake. Others have complained of the same issue. The non-ABS version has a firmer lever feel than the ABS version, no matter what you do. Using two fingers, I have to give it quite a squeeze to stop fast. I think the only time I might have triggered the front ABS was when trying to stop quick over a lumpy road. (Could have been the crappy head bearings for all I know.)
