Installed a waterproof USB port on the FJR and successfully wired it to the Fuzeblock. Now to just create a plate to screw it to.

There's gonna be a slew of FJR's running around the SEO this weekend. I'll be out with a group of them Saturday and I think @JustinNck1 will be as well. Not sure what exactley my route is, but I'm planning on 26, 260, 536, 556, 148, 78, 530, and upper 339.

I'm currently sporting Alpinestars jackets. Love them, tho the fit around the midsection is a bit tight. I suppose I could lose weight to fix that... I used to have a Fieldsheer full mesh and loved it as well.

I grew up less than 1 miles from the Meigs/Athens County line, now living in Belpre. @JustinNck1 and I are definitely spoiled with having the best roads in the state at our immediate disposal.

Welcome to the fold! Congrats on passing the course as well. I'll echo what many have already said about buying a used bike versus a new one. Also, when it comes to gear, don't be too skimpy. It is YOUR body you're trying to protect. Remember that. Luckily we have an EXCELLENT forum sponsor in @RidersDiscount who can hook you up with some great prices and the BEST customer service around! Don't worry if you go on a group ride about your pace. Make it known that you're a newer rider and it may be your first ride with them. I'm sure that someone will take the time to keep you in their sight and offer helpful constructive criticism. DON'T TRY TO KEEP UP!! Ride your ride. They will always wait for you at the next turn. I'd love to make it but I'll be in VA.

Getting ready for the first big trip of the season. My uncle and I have been talking about where to go and the Hawks Nest, NY area came up for discussion. We decided that would be a great place to go, and seeing as I already have a 3 day weekend for the holiday, might as well burn a Personal Holiday and make a nice long weekend out of it. The plan is to leave Belpre on Friday and ride to Mansfield, PA for the first night. Then the 2nd day, make our way to Port Jervis,NY and Hawks Nest then up to Johnstown, NY for the night. 3rd Day making a small loop up into the Adirondacks and back down thru the Finger Lakes region to Olean, NY for the last night. And finally, an easy jaunt thru Western PA back down to Belpre on Monday. Hoping for a good trip with lots of great riding. They're on my short list to try.Probably will be my 2nd set of tires this year. But the mileage folks are getting from the RS3 is pretty good. I know both @JustinNck1 and @2talltim have run the RS3 and had good results.

I'm wanting to squeeze a ride in before I head to Lexington, so I'll try to make the 10a meetup. I'll probably take the long way there since I would like to leave town by 1 or 2.

Nice! I've been watching Forged in Fire a lot lately and some of the things those guys create is amazing!
