Curious how you find the lean angle on that unit. I guess we'll find out Saturday! My demo ride didnt end well back in the day.. they weren't happy about the radiator grille and foot pegs being ground down!
Either way, it has relevance to this forum because;
1. It's Motorcycle-related
2. Nicky is from next-door Kentucky
3. It still freaking sucks.
4. As What said above, the USA is poorly represented on the roadracing stage, with the other possible exception of PJ Jacobsen.
5. Nicky supported some good local causes/charities.
A lot less comfy than the std SV, but it does have a small screen. I'd personally recommend the SV over any inline 4 for a newbie. Much more usable and forgiving torque band. And for someone as tall as the OP, I'd still recommend the Vstrom. Same engine, and super easy to ride.
That's gotta be way past $30k, yes? As i remember, when new they were in the $80-90K range?!
If you want a real V4 exotic, get thee a NR750 oval piston Honda (RC40)!
Hey, there's always a Vmax, or a RoyalStar for if you need a cheep V4 fix!
Speaking of Demo rides....anyone had a chance to demo a Motus? I see they now have them at Northern Ohio dealer in Akron, as well as MotOhio out of Columbus. Looks pretty sweet on paper! Not sure it's $30K sweet, but sweet nonetheless.
