Put a new one up on my house a couple weeks ago. Last year's flag was in pretty rough shape when i took it down last fall. I got some cool ball bearing brackets that completely eliminate twisting/tangling!

Dropped the pipe at Late Apex Performance Coatings and met Hoblick. Getting the pipe coated is one less problem to getting my bike ready for the season.

I made the 8 year deal by a year too! My wife and I went together to renew our DLs and she was only able to get 4 years. I had to bite my tongue to avoid commenting out loud...

No problem! It's still stupid for me to keep spending money on this 21 year old bike that nobody loves but me. If we ever get the chance, you have to take it for a ride so you can see what I made out of a cheap, naked, standard.

It's not a stock pipe, It's a handmade, Dale Walker's Holeshot stepped header with highmount. It was originally (18 years ago) satin silver ceramic coated which has held up extremely well. And nobody has ever accused me of making wise choices spending money on this. I probably have close to $20k in this bike that I probably couldn't sell for $3k! 🙄

It's MY 21 year-old naked streetbike. If it wasn't naked, I'd say, "Fuck it" and shoot it with flat black gas grill paint and hide it behind the plastics.
