    Saturday the 19th

I think I am taking this weekend off from riding. You guys speed safely.
  2. 100% agree. Once the snow flies, it's over until spring. Sometimes the roads have been clear of salt long enough to make a February-quickie happen, but I have a Japanese bike for slumming.
  3. Jesus Christ...who are these people?
  4. Oh, yeah.... you did get suckered into ride leader, but I am glad, as that was the best Ohio loop I have ever ridden. 10/10 would follow you again. I had a ton of fun.
  5. All that eco-friendly commuting destroyed by your water-heated digits. Shameful.
  6. @Uncle Punk, you didn't upset anybody's apple cart. I was comfortable with the pace and sort of expected to sweep, honestly. I only moved up the group because I was waved by. The group did what it does.. we filed into an order of comfort level. I also had no idea where we were going and two of those roads I had never ridden. You did nothing wrong in my opinion. This wasn't a newb ride. We are all grown men.

    Saturday the 19th

This Saturday is a definite maybe for me, pal.
  8. My bike came with a 180/55/17, but my cousin has a set of race take-offs from his 1985 Caprice Classic. Should I use DynaBeads or just slap some hamsteak in there and hope for the best?
  9. Should have bought a Ducati.
  10. Make sure your tabs are making contact with the pins on your bulbs. Gently pull them back out with a small screwdriver.
  11. Harley is that 112 year old man in the nursing home that just won't die, no matter how many bodily functions are no longer in service.
  12. 460 miles today. 140 short of my intended route, but I got a late start due to an electrical issue with the Voyager. Got the famous Yuasa POP... same thing that happened to me on the Multistrada a few years ago. I was dead in the water with 500 miles ahead of me. A quick phone call to Jim to make sure I didn't touch something I should not have resulted in another phone call home to see if Amanda was able to drive my spare battery to me. She was and did. It is half the size of the OEM, but it did the job. A new one is on the way, but she saved my bacon big time today. Back in business... I took 77S to Parkersburg, then was supposed to take 47..but I needed to make time, so I shot across 50 to WV-31, then 47 to 119, past Buckhannon. Then I grabbed 250 in Elkins and took it all the way to I-64. Wow.. 250 is a great way to get across WV. I had never taken it past 28, but it just gets better the further east you go. Stopped for a quick bite and fuel before I hit the freeway and was making great time considering how much I lost this morning. Cruise set at 80mph and Joe Satriani playing in my helmet... I was going to make it by 9:30 at this rate. Then Google informed me of a car crash on I-95S and I started checking the radar. Rain was just ahead of me, so it seemed like a fine time to call it a day. I made it to Richmond, VA... 2 hours north of Rocky Mount, NC. So, I will be up early tomorrow to get back on schedule. I have 150 miles between me and the customer's facility. Boo! Still... I had my own epic ride today. 10/10, would ride again.
  13. I am cold as fuck. It was 45 when I left home and an hour later it is 37 degrees.
  14. Or.... now hear me out.... or, just don't make them in the first place.
  15. I see no apology in this post.
  16. Everytime I see Tim's "Metal Helth" rides, I wish he would invite me. I couldn't go, of course..but that is irrelevant.
  17. No. I spoke out of turn. I will go back to my hole, now.
  18. I think Medium is going to be dialed back a bit from your usual pace. It will still be fun and I hope to have Isaac in with us.
  19. Scratch this... I will not be 2-up. I might still have Isaac in tow, though. I will be on the Hyper, but probably still in Medium.
