  1. Reverse is one of those things that sounds ridiculous until you've used it. Another is an auto-blipper. Do I need one? Nope. Is it fucking awesome? Yep.
  2. Yeah... last night the temps read closer to mid-fifties for today. I may get out for a quick jaunt this afternoon.
  3. I can meet wherever/whenever. Looking to ride at a moderately-briskish pace, but not fast. Who down?
  4. True, but I am fine with it. Once the FZ6 is gone, I will be good for quite a while. If you enjoy 2-up riding, then you owe it to yourself to ride a new Goldwing. It isn't your grandpa's Buick.
  5. I have done more riding this year than the past 5 altogether.
  6. A $25k cruiser is a $25k cruiser, no matter who builds it. This isn't "Field Of Dreams". The demand has to be there.
  7. Does it slide a lot in the salt, or just that much of a bitch to clean?
  8. Damn.. I wish I needed a helmet. Looks good.
  9. Two locked away. One on standby. I am ready for that 62 degree day in February.
  10. I noticed. Super creepy. Clearing my cache, now.
  11. 42, most likely. That is my size.
  12. Honesty, the ZRex is a top 5 "must have" bike for me. Either Eddie Lawson green, or slate gray.
  13. I have a buddy that reprogrammed his GPS to swear at him. "Make a u-turn" became "Turn this damn boat around", and stuff like that. It was pretty entertaining.
  14. Damn. I want to be a European...wait, scratch that. Damn. I want to be a Canadian Motorcycle Cop.

    And chicks with dicks... YEAH!!
  16. Be careful. They might find out you are not really not an asshole.
  17. That is fucking brilliant. John totally beat my brass balls.

Bullshit. Every bike you ride has rider AIDS.

I doubt it at this point. The BMW is here to stay. The Voyager will go eventually, but it is just about perfect for 2-up touring and it is in damn-near perfect condition. When the time comes, it will be replaced with a luxury tourer of some kind. I want to see how well the Goldwing ages. I was looking at 900 Multistradas, but the lack of weather protection and a maintenance-free drivetrain dropped its appeal for my current needs. The BMW just blows it away in ride quality, too. (which was a real shock to me, honesty). I expected the GS to be this gigantic, hard to operate, slug of a bike. It is 100% not that in any sense of the word. Will I take it into the woods? Probably not on purpose, but that may change after a couple seasons. For now, the Hyper will be my hooligan bike. I really enjoy it and see no immediate reason to dump it. The GS might change my mind, but time will tell.
