I haven't seen any less mask use at all, so I'm starting to think the masks just don't work as well as people think they do. If the state shuts down again next week, I believe there's going to be some real push back from the citizens of Ohio. More businesses will probably close, more people out of work. Also, if you don't get tested, our numbers won't go up. If the whole state decided to just stop getting tested, then our numbers would "go down".

I saw Van Halen three times, once with Dave for their reunion tour in 2007, and twice with Sammy in the 90's. Amazing band in their prime, Eddie was a legend. So sad...

My winter / rain beater 2013 Ford Fiesta is as no frills as it gets. 5 speed, no power windows, no cruise control, not even a vanity mirror. It gets 40+ MPG and doesn't cost much to operate. Not much fun, but I just wanted something simple to go back and forth to work, especially during the winter.

Me and my brother will probably be there. He's got a red 1991 Mustang GT, I'll either have my Cobra or my '86 GT, haven't decided which one yet.

AEP no longer does that, according to their website. I already tried to do that, hence now I have to sell it.

Need a fridge for your garage or pole barn? Buy this. It's an Amana, probably 20 years old. I had it in my garage until I got a new one for my house, and moved my old house one to my garage. Ice maker doesn't work. $25: http://wease.net/pics/Fridge.jpg

Two interesting pieces of COVID news in Columbus this week: 1. The testing site near Ackerman that I drive past every day is now shut down. It was up and operational since April. And this is the bigger one: 2. The 100+ extra emergency hospital beds have been removed from the Columbus Convention Center. I noticed that the power company trucks were gone earlier this week, so today on my walk at lunch time (my stupid gym here is still closed ), I went into the Convention Center and asked the guy at the front desk. He said they were taken out this week.

I'm not getting where "Ohio is bad". The RT tracker says that Ohio is one of the best states in the US as far as infections: https://rt.live/

I'm posting this for a co-worker, this is not my car, but I have seen it. It's legit very nice and located near Dayton: 1996 Mystic Cobra. It is build #1985 out of 2000. I have all documentation that it is a Mystic, including letters from Ford and SVT verifying. I also have the original window sticker as well. (A copy of the window sticker is shown but I have the actual one) Currently has 76,xxx miles. Asking price is $11,000 (See below for details). Title in hand! Car is stock under the hood, just a CAI and new battery last year. Short throw shifter and exhaust (H-pipe). Not 100% certain on the gears but from experience they feel like 3.73's. Put on a set of black AMR 18’’ wheels last year. Has 295 Toyo Proxes on the rear with maybe 1000 miles on them. Kumho’s on the front (same mileage) Outside condition is 9.5 out of 10. The only blemishes are some rock chips on front bumper but not many, especially for a ’96. Inside condition is 7.5 out of 10. The usual wear and tear of an interior. (Floor mats, seat creases, etc). The only issue currently is there is no A/C. Had it recharged last year and ended up having a leak in between the AC clutch/compressor. Needs a new compressor and I am currently trying to get it fixed but if I am unable to I will adjust the price to accommodate for it. Pics are located here: http://wease.net/96Cobra/ Email: afrydman2010@gmail.com for more info

Sorry, perhaps I didn't explain properly: The hospital bound COVID patients by and large have been the elderly or those that have a number of other health issues. Those are the people that still need to keep away from others. The rest of us can keep on with life, as long as we follow the new guidelines of social distancing, which includes keeping distance, masks indoors in crowded areas, etc.

No one should be surprised at all that we have more cases. Nor should anyone be mad about it or looking for other data to support their narrative. However, if we did what we set out to do (PPE, get hospitals ready, etc.) then we should be ready for this. I've said a few times that the Convention Center has been sitting empty with 100+ hospital beds since early April. Still not being used. I think Columbus is ready and has been ready. I also believe that if you're not in the danger zone for it, then move on with your life, wear a mask in public enclosed places if that's what makes people happy, etc.

Cases seem to be rising, but wasn't that expected with things opening up? If we did what they said we were supposed to do, get the hospitals and PPE ready, then we should be prepared for this. That's how I view it anyway. We should be ready for this up tick, no reason to freak out. At least that's what I've seen some from media sources, the "freak out" part.

COVID really threw a wrench in my normal workouts, which were 2-3 days of ice hockey, 5-7 days at the gym. Fortunately, I have some weights in my basement, and I bought a professional gym level elliptical right as the shit hit the fan, because I just had a feeling I wasn't going to get back to a gym for a while. That being said, after a week or two of self pity with no gym and hockey, I buckled back down into a new routine at home with cardio and weights. I've actually been able to get myself into better shape during this whole thing. I kind of took it on as a challenge to come out of quarantine in better shape than I went in. I'm also roller blading more, just to keep the skating aspect up.

This is very true...

I owed a boat about 10 years ago, I had no idea you needed a license, I just bought it and drove it...

I sure as hell won't. I used to be 105+ pounds heavier. This virus has been a huge example of why you should take care of yourself. The less issues you have, the less your chances of having complications from it.

This times 1000. As much as I don't like wearing one, if they think wearing one will help open shit back up and keep it open, then I'm doing it. I have a cloth one a friend made, it's fine, but I only wear it in stores. There's no reason to wear it out walking around or in your car, etc.
