  1. It wasn't mine. Not my plate, nor do I have a cutout. However, it might have been the one I saw at QSL the weekend of the Good Guys Show. Younger guy, tinted windows, loud ass car. Too loud, as you know...
  2. That is so awesome, especially for a stick car...
  3. Oh yeah, I totally agree with you on all points. Anyway, here's a pic of my '86 GT and my brother's '90 GT from the show on Sunday. We just parked in the other lot, we didn't enter the cars in the show:
  4. I took my WS6 Firebird Formula to shows a few times back in the mid 2000's when it was just 4-5 years old. It was very clean, and very rare, but it never won anything. Nor did I expect it to.
  5. There was a car show at the Zoo yesterday and it was FANTASTIC. So much good shit. I'd see something and be like "This is my favorite car here" and then 5 minutes later I'd see something even better. A lot of 60's muscle cars. One of my absolute dream cars was there, a 1965 Chevy Impala SS Convertible with a 409. That was the last year you could get a 409. I've never seen one in person and I was in love. I almost left my name and number in case the guy ever decided to sell. I went to the QSL show last weekend with my son and it was all new Dodge Challengers. Or rather, like 75% of the show was guys with their new fucking Challengers. Big deal. Sorry, but anyone can buy a new car and take it to a show like that. The only one really worth the look was the guy with the Demon, because he had a poster board with stats and a 9 second time slip.
  6. LOL, I remember thinking the same thing as the dude was catching up...
  7. That's what I thought. In the $8K's, I was like "Meh, OK, whatever." But mid $7K's, yeah that seemed like a great price.
  8. $7500. Talked them down from $8200.
  9. It was an older woman that owned it. It's been sitting for the most part of the last 10 years, so I'm sure it's going to need a few things. Regardless, it was a hell of a find.
  10. Well like I tried to explain, that was my quick diagnosis while I was trying to get it back home, then swap cars to get to work. I did notice the TOB making more noise recently, so it might be related to that.
  11. Thanks. They are pretty close to my house, so I might actually be able to just drive the car there. I need to get back out and see if I can get it into any other gear first, but that place is a good option.
  12. No, it was up near Detroit. He was on the fence about driving up there to check it out, but he's glad he did. Very good find.
  13. Do we have a sponsor for a transmission shop? Or does anyone recommend one up near Delaware / Powell / Dublin? My 5 speed Fiesta decided not to shift into any other gear except 3rd this morning. Thankfully it was at the start of my commute, so I could get back home quickly.
  14. So my brother has been looking around for something to drive, he sold his Focus ST a couple of years ago and hasn't found anything that he really liked, until last week. He found and bought this 1990 Mustang GT. All stock (other than the rims), never modified, 32K miles, really nice condition. I'm really looking forward to helping him do some mods right away: http://wease.net/90/90-GT-1.jpg http://wease.net/90/90-GT-2.jpg
  15. LOL, he actually liked both of those colors. The tan is quite uncommon, from what I gather. I wouldn't want it on my Dark Shadow Grey though.
  16. So he stopped off at Lash the other night to see the car. It wasn't bad, but there was some stuff he'd like fixed or changed out. The power seat needed work, some of the interior also needed attention. They weren't budging off the price, so he decided he wasn't interested. He's also comparing it against my car, which is in fantastic shape for it's age. I'd give my interior / exterior a 9/10. Yes, I'm bragging, but I take care of my cars and this one just wasn't quite where he was hoping. Especially with those miles.
  17. Thanks, I'll pass that along to him.
  18. Thanks for that, but he really wants only an unmodded 1LE.
  19. I've said that same thing to my brother, but he just didn't like the 2007+ Shelby Cobra as much as he liked the 2003-04. He's also considering a newer 1LE Camaro.
  20. Funny though, it's about dead on with the mods and mileage on my Cobra. Very close. I paid $25K for mine with 11K miles on it back on in 2006 and it was bone stock. I bet I could get close to that right now, if I was selling.
  21. My brother is looking at this 2003 Mustang Cobra. Is anyone familiar with it? Anyone know the former owner maybe?
  22. Oh, I figured it out. My work has that site blocked for "Suspicious"...
  23. For some reason this link doesn't work for me.
  24. Not only that, a lot of mainframe systems are nearly hacker proof, so companies don't upgrade their systems because of that...
