Great news for any veteran of the Armed Forces who does NOT have USAA as their insurance carrier: They are opening up membership to anyone who honorably served, regardless of when you were discharged. I highly recommend checking them out. I've used them for over 15 years now and they are the best insurance company out there: http://www.usaa.com Before this you basically had so many months or years after your discharge to join. But not now. That's huge news for a lot of veterans who missed that boat!

Poor Dexter. He was a great dog. He lived a LONG time for a Lab. Here are mine, Molly and Sandi. Yellow Labs, sisters from the same litter. Molly is on the left, Sandi on the right. Just one more plug for the PenFed card: I just got my monthly cash back and they credited me almost $50 for my purchases last month! I get 2% cash back on supermarket purchases, 5% cash back from gas purchases paid at the pump, and 1.25% cash back from all other purchases. So that's like almost a tank and a half of gas for free, per month, for my Contour, just by using this card...

This. I opened my PenFed account like a year ago and it saves me tons of money. Like 3%-5% back on groceries and gas. That's about all I used it for and I get a nice cash reward every month. PenFed rocks... :nod:
