  1. The saddest part about those dogs, is that they only live like 8-10 years...
  2. I want to snag a nice 9-7x Aero in a few years...

    TAX TIMEEE!

http://wease.net/pics/clap2.gif You and me both. Why give them more money during the year, just to get some big dollar amount back? If you get more than $1K back, you're doing it wrong and need to check your withholding...
  4. I'm really noticing it now that I have my PS3, but I'm noticing that it's just not as sharp as it used to be. Plus I can see a "blue halo" or "double" on the outside of some images. I've used the "Magic Focus" option that comes with this 6 year old Hitachi, but it doesn't make much of a difference. I'm thinking I might have to have it professionally done? Thoughts?

    I see no snow!

Real men shovel their driveway, they don't have it plowed...

    I see no snow!

Storm's about half over in Columbus. I don't think we're getting as much as they thought.
  7. And up to a certain dollar amount. I bought a Cobra intake for my '86 GT years ago on eBay, got a good deal on it. It never showed up. I filed a complaint, and only got part of my money back, like $150 of the $300+ I spent. Fuck that. From now on, when I use Paypal, I do it against my credit card ONLY, so if I get screwed, I can take it up with my credit card company and not Paypal. I use them as little as possible.
  8. Where did you hear that? I've got to shovel a pond for pond hockey, I'm all about 1 inch of snow now...
  9. My driveway is long than yours and I do it. Oh, and you need to salt your sidewalk so I don't fall when peeping into your house...
  10. I've owned like 20+ cars in my life. I rarely seem to keep one longer than like 1-2 years. However, I've had my '86 Mustang GT the longest of any car I've ever owned; will be 6 years in April. I don't ever plan on getting rid of it. I've only put like 10K miles on it as well...
  11. I have a long, gravel driveway. I don't shovel anything unless we get a crap ton of snow. Even then, I've been known to shovel the whole thing myself because I'm so bad ass...
  12. Just think, UC was seconds away from going to the title game against Alabama. I almost wish it would have happened, just to prove that College Football needs a playoff. No fucking way was/is UC the #3 team. I think OSU would beat them without a problem, too. They surely won't get nearly as much respect next year in the polls...
  13. I think Einsteins has them as well. I have also seen them at Giant Eagle in their bakery department. Egg bagels are some of my favorite...
  14. I'd say that's REALLY cheap for a newborn. That's $5.83 an hour. I was thinking of charging $7.50 an hour to watch the 6 year old, so $15 a day for the two hours we'll have her.
  15. Anyone pay someone to babysit their child, or do you babysit some kids? I'm not talking "teenager" type rates here, I'm talking actual adult supervision of a child, mostly after and before school. My wife is going to start watching the neighbor kid (she is 6) for an hour each time, before school, and after school. She also might take on another kid or two before/after school. What do you charge/pay for that? Half day, full day, weekly rates, etc. Newborn to 1 year, toddler, preschool and school age, etc. I'm also talking "friend" prices here, not what you'd pay the local daycare business. They will charge far more than we are going to charge...
  16. I make it to Walmart about once a month. And more often than not, I go there for one reason: Motor oil. They still have a great price on it. I only hit the one in Lewis Center. It's not too bad, compared to say the one on Morse Rd., but it's still Walmart. The last time I was there, there was a guy with a HUGE cart full of groceries going through the "Less Than 20" cashier and the cashier let him do it...
  17. Carl is the best thing about ATHF...

    Magic Jack

I've been waiting to do this, but not until they can port your old number. I hardly use my home phone and would love to cancel it, but my wife won't hear of it. So as soon as Magic Jack can port my old home number, I'm getting it. For the maybe once a day my home phone gets used, it would be worth it to me...
  19. Congrats! I've been "debt free" for a few months now. A mortgage really doesn't count against saying you are "debt free". It was my goal before my child was born. All 5 cars, the boat, and one of my houses I own outright. Just have the mortgage on the one I currently live in, but I'll have that paid off in about 14 years. So before I'm 50, I'll have it paid off as well. The only credit I deal with is my PenFed card, and I pay that off every month and get a nice cash back bonus from them based on my purchases. Good luck finding a house!
  20. CNN picked it up this morning: http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/europe/12/02/climate.stolen.emails/index.html
  21. Relax, I think he was just pointing it out. Regardless, thanks for the info on that. I have the same problem with my TV that the OP has, but it comes and goes. Only happens with HD though. It hasn't gotten bad enough where I'm calling TW. Yet...
