Another vote for multiple, small meals. This helps me out. That ECA stack also does wonders for your appetite suppression, but you can't do it all the time...
-
I wasn't in on any contest, but I'm still down about 60+ pounds from last year around April. I've kept it off and then some...

It's about time you moved out my way. Slowly, but surely, all ex-COFBA members are getting closer to me. Joe is my new neighbor. I've lived there for 7+ years now. Ain't nothing like living out in the country with few neighbors, a big lawn, and peace and quiet...

Yeah, a basking shark is a harmless shark. Just like the big whale shark. They just eat plankton. Gentle giant...

Of course, you're a Marine yourself. It's not hard to figure out why you've never heard anyone say that...
-
Yes, I'm sure about that. I've never met one Airmen who ever said they were gonna join the Marines, LOL...

Where did this happen, what police?

Great advice, thanks. I actually bought the insurance last night. $200 for the whole year is well worth it to me. Joe, you are correct, I should take it out this week after work. I'll let you know when and you can come with me if you like...

I have a cover for it, it just wasn't on when you saw it. It's on now. I'll call you this week when I'm around, you can come over and see it then. I was way too busy today to go boating, sorry. I hope to get it out next Sunday for the first time...

I'm with Shawn. 8 MPH over? Give me a fucking break. I know many cops and they all tell me they won't even bother unless you are going more than 15 over...

Well, I bought the boat. Was in great shape, better than I expected. One small soft spot in the floor, but nothing crazy. Very well maintained and the guy was a boat mechanic. He didn't even tell me that over the phone. Ran great, looks great, so much has been updated on it, so I really hope it won't give me any problems. I'll post up pics tomorrow, will probably take it out for the first time next weekend...

Well if you see it in my yard Saturday night, you'll know that I bought it...

Yeah, it's about dead on and looks in fantastic shape...

I'm ex-Air Force. Best decision I ever made was joining that branch and getting into Computer Programming. Let the other branches bust your balls all they want. It's because either they're brainwashed or they realize after the fact that they joined the wrong branch of the service. There's a reason the Air Force is the envy of the others. We've got the best standard of living, best training, and treat our people better than anyone else. Be proud to serve, I still am and I've been out 9 years now. My words of wisdom for Basic: 1. Do exactly as you're told. Nothing more, nothing less. 2. Don't volunteer for shit. If they still run basic the way they did 10 years ago, I'd say about the only thing I'd volunteer to do when they hand out the barrack duties is clean the day room. That's what I did. Cake job. Easier than latrine duty or whatever else. 3. For the love of God, do not get married in Tech School. Hell, I'd even offer up not to get married while you are active duty, unless you plan on making it a career. Two people I knew in Tech School knew each other for about a month and got married off base, and then tried to get stationed with each other. Freaking asshats. Stay focused on what you're there for. Pass all of your classes, as if you get washed back too many times, you can get kicked out. That was more than enough motivation for me when I was there. Basic is more about the mental aspect, not the physical one. Just keep that in mind while you're there, as they try to mentally break you. Good luck, you'll do fine...

I might head up and look at this boat this weekend. That looks really nice...

Funny, I was going to look at this, which is OMC, but looks to be a good deal...

Been kicking around the idea of buying a boat. Nothing crazy, something in the $5K - $6K range, but it has to be open bow and preferably a V8. Something I can ski/tube/fish from and get my dogs in, if I wish. My neighbor had a nice 19 foot Thompson years ago that he let me borrow and we had a great time with it. Storing it isn't an issue, I've got nearly 2 acres of space and live out in the country. What should I look for, what should I get? I've been in contact with the owners of these boats, they both seem decent: 1988 Chaparral 1989 Thompson So school me on what I should be looking for, etc.

If it rains or the road is wet, you're fucked. I drove home from Norwalk in the '86 with my bald ass drag radials and got caught in some rain. I thought I was going to die, or worse. I was literally doing like 15 down the road after I almost lost the ass end. If there is any rain in the forecast at all, I wouldn't do it...

I enjoy Facebook (Pics of friends, etc.), but I have no use for Twitter. I can't believe it's gone as far as it has...

Honestly, the only reason I'd sell it, is if you were really hard up and needed the money. I always think of my primary fun car (in this case, the Cobra) in the sense that sooner or later, I'll sell that and get something else that's better. For me, it's gonna have to be a C6 Z06, but right now, I don't want that kind of car payment. All 5 of my cars are paid for and I have no other bills. I kind of like that. So really, if it was me, is there something else you want to replace it, can or do you want to afford that upgrade, or are you just done with having a fun car in general?
-
You get more money from a stock car, plus you make money off of the parts you sell. That's why I did it and as your description of Casey, I could be his twin. Other than I'm younger and better looking. Seriously, I tried to sell mine modified and had no luck. So I put it back to stock and then sold it...
-
FYI, back in 2005, I got almost $15K for my 2000 WS6 Formula, but it had less miles and was back to stock. If you do sell, I highly recommend that you put it back to stock...

According to your profile, you're 17, so I'm assuming you're still in high school? I haven't been to a reunion nor do I plan on going to one. My 20 year is coming up in a few years though. I've reconnected with a few friends from high school and college on Facebook, so really, I don't see the need to attend a reunion. And most of my good friends in high school weren't even in my class.
