I'm not ingorant, I understand how it all works. And I'm not trying to offend anyone here, but this is just how it is for me: I don't live paycheck to paycheck. If between food and gas and whatever else it costs me $100 more a month, then I just change my budget for that. I still max out my 401K and live my life. I'm not happy about paying more for anything, but unless gas hits $10 a gallon, my lifestyle is not going to change much...

Sure, gas prices suck. They are up a good $1 per gallon over last year. But you know what? It's costing me a grand total of maybe $13 more per week to fill up my car. Big f'n deal...

OK, I found the issue. Not sure what's causing it, but there was oil down in the plugs. I've had that happen before, I changed the leaking valve cover gasket which seemed to fix it, but now there's more oil down there. I've got to figure out why that's happening...

I don't condone doing anything to anyone's car, but I tell you what, some stupid c-unit does that to any of my cars and runs off, her car is getting my foot into the door, the window, keyed, I don't give a fuck what. You don't do that to a person's car, consciously know what you did, then run off without apologizing and attempting to make it right...

Even not under load it's still idling rough. But if I get it enough gas, it seems fine when it hits that upper RPM range.

My daughter drives this car, she came home from school yesterday and said it was acting strange. The engine was idling kinda rough and when I drove it, it wouldn't accelerate very fast. Seemed to bog down a lot, like it wasn't getting enough fuel. Now when it was out of gear (it's an auto), I could step on the gas and it would accelerate past the rough part and be fine in the upper RPM range. I thought one of two things: Fuel filter or clogged injectors. The car does have 200K on it, but runs and drives great, until yesterday. Thoughts?

My opinion? Don't "invest" in the stock market. Bad idea. The chances that you can turn that small investment into big money is very small. Probably less than 1%. You put your money into mutual funds and watch them grow. Anything over 8% a year is a bonus... :nod:

Cops still out in force today. I saw no less than 6 between 23 and Tuttle not an hour ago. I ususally go 9 over and went right through two traps at 74 in a 65. They didn't even look at me...

I might have the next "closest to stock 5.0". My '86 has just gears, exhaust, and pullies. Went 14.2 @ 95 with that though... :nod:
