More true words about joining the service have never been spoken. :nod: Everytime someone asks what they should do when they join, I always tell them the same thing: "Pick something that has use in the outside world." I knew a guy in high school, joined the Marine Corps, which is not a problem, I respect anyone who serves. But when he got out, he went to work at Walmart. Fuck that. So when I joined the Air Force, I made sure that the career I picked had use in the civilian world. I went in as a computer programmer, got some top notch training, finished my degree, and have a good, solid professional career.
Also, why the Army? I'm just curious...
