  1. I haven't been drunk since probably 1998. No BS. I just don't drink very often. I'll have the occasional social beer, but I don't drink just to drink. I get buzzed once or twice a year, if I'm out at a bar with my wife or at an OSU game, but I haven't been drunk off my ass in nearly 10 years. Never done drugs in my life, except perhaps a small contact buzz at a Grateful Dead concert back in 1993...
  2. $1200 for me, too. Probably pay my stupid taxes... Edit: "Those who earn up to $75,000 individually or up to $150,000 as a couple will be eligible for the payments, said Republican and Democratic sources familiar with the tentative deal." Nevermind. Guess I won't be getting anything after all.
  3. No witnesses. From what I gather, the other person regained control of their car and took off right after...
  4. My wife got into a car accident this morning. Basically a hit and run. She's fine, but the Rainier is messed up. Passenger side door is fucked up. Window smashed, won't open. The car is driveable though. She was going down Riverside Dr., north of the zoo. A car coming at her was spinning in circles in the snow, forced her off the side of the road and she spun and hit a telephone pole. The car took off, left the scene. My wife is fine, she's not hurt at all. This happened at 6:30 this morning. I got up, went down there and checked it out , and had her drive home. Then I put it in the garage and took her to work. I'm glad she's OK, but I'm f'n PISSED that some sorry son of a bitch that would cause an accident and then leave the scene. People suck...
  5. That's big news. He was a pretty good up and coming actor. Wow...
  6. Hmm, there's nothing on my record. I wonder why...
  7. Don't worry, I'm working on a hack that disables that feature for him. We're all sick of it...
  8. This could affect (and probably has, as I had issues a few weeks ago) with my BitTorrent stuff I do. Hmm...
  9. I normally use Kroger gas because of the discount. My Cobra dyno'd 433/402 with Kroger 93 and nothing but a CAI and catback exhaust. I've been happy with it. My wife has a BP gas card through her work. I've "heard" all sorts of bad things about BP, so I generally avoid it in my other cars, but her Rainier sees BP 87 all the time. So did the Mountaineer before that. No issues with any of them.
  10. Not sure if there are any Packers fans around here, but I am. And I sure am glad the Cowgirls lost. Go Pack go!

    Wow incest ...

Except for that white dude in the upper right hand corner. He thinks it's cool...
  12. Software Engineer. As someone already said, military experience plus a degree is gold in the work force. I did four years active duty, finished up my degree while I was in (prior to that I had been in college for chemistry), and when I got out, I had no problems finding a job. Of course, none of that may apply to you if you don't plan on joining the service or getting into that aspect of IT...
  13. Sorry, but First Watch is not what he's looking for. Yes, the food is good and reasonable, but no way does First Watch qualify as a "greasy classic old-fashioned breakfast restaurant". It's just a tad too high class for that. There is a diner on 23 heading north into Delaware, on the west side of the road right before you hit the Sherrif's station. I've driven past it a few times, looks like that might be good. I'm gonna have to try Hamburger Inn in Delaware. I had no idea it was that kinda place...
  14. One of these years I'll be calling you up and getting my car tuned. When I actually do my pulley swap...
  15. It's not that there aren't any, it's that they are sold out already. When Skybus does this, they go very quick. Within a few hours, usually. I didn't even wait for my mother to call me back yesterday, I went and bought them up regardless. Worst case, I'm out $61. I can deal with that. I do know that I got the last $20 seat on the way out from California, as I tried to buy two tickets (one for my step father as well) and it wouldn't let me. So I bought the one, then looked again at the calendar and the seats on that day were now like $75. So I got lucky. Thanks again to Sciongirl!
  16. Just got tickets for my Mom to come see me at the end of this month out of Oakland for $61...
  17. Freaking sweet, I'm trying to get a hold of my mother, see if she can come out from California the end of this month. With taxes, $60 round trip. Can't beat that! Thanks for the heads up, I hope she calls me back soon. Hell, I should just buy them, then I'd only be out $60!
  18. As much as I love rooting against UM, I was really happy to see them win. I'm sick and tired of hearing how great the SEC is over the Big 10. So good for UM and fuck the Gators and the SEC...
  19. Thought you man whores might enjoy this...
  20. How does one "nail a bitch online"?
  21. Never. Ever. Rent your house out. Boy, the stories I have from my father, step-father, and aunt from having rental houses. It was the worst thing any of them ever did with their house. Don't move, don't get another mortgage. Stay where you are until you can sell it and not take a loss...
  22. A buddy I play hockey with had nothing but problems with his. I'd have to ask specificially what those were, but I know he hated it...
  23. Woo-hoo, all four pairs just sold on Ebay. Total profit: $245. Not too bad, better than I had expected...
  24. The children's set of boots I bought for $90 is already up to $130. Suckers...
