  1. Reading comprehension > you...
  2. I'm in the same boat with mods. Do I spend the $1K or so for the pulley swap, blower port, and tune (already have the pulleys, so under $1K to finish it off) to gain that additional 80 HP / 100 TQ to hit 500 RWHP / 500 RWTQ? Decisions, decisions... :marc:
  3. I saw one on Riverside the other day up near my house. Damn sexy car...
  4. Another vote for AVG. Download the free version of this and let it run, see what it cleans up: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/download-free-anti-virus/us/frt/0
  5. As long as I buy and you put after, Joe. Just like old times...
  6. Would you like to be banned?
  7. I should probably mention that my daughter (actually my step-daughter, I would have been 14 when she was conceived ), is 18 years old. This is kind of a graduation present, as she's Valedictorian of her class this year. Great info though, keep it coming...
  8. My wife, daughter, and I are probably going on a cruise this summer. We've never been before, but we're pretty sure it will be a 7 day cruise out of either Miami or Tampa, Eastern Carribean or Western. Who has been on either of those before, what can you tell me about cruise lines, what to do, what not to do, where to stay on the ship, etc.?
  9. Actually, my wife found it. You're welcome...
  10. Not the actual video, but some pics here. For those who don't know, this actress was Charlotte on Sex And The City...
  11. Berto's a smart mother f'er...
  12. Sure they could. If you're spending thousands of dollars on your car instead of putting it towards your 401K, I'd regret that. It's all about priority and sometimes, your priorities change.
  13. About $45 to fill up my Contour (Kroger gas, $0.20 discount, but I have to put in 93 octane). I get around 25 - 26 MPG and that will last me a week. My wife drives the Mountaineer, but has a gas card through work, so we don't pay for gas in that. I think it's been about $60 to fill that up...

    NHL Trading Day

The biggest problem with the Jackets spending money, from what I see, is two fold: 1. There just aren't any top centers out there that will be available as UFA's. Daymond Langkow and Brendan Morrison are the only two I'd even consider going after, and they aren't true #1 centers. They'd play #1 center for the Jackets, only because they don't have one, but they are better suited to being on a #2 line. So until Derik Brassard is ready for that #1, they'd have to do with one of them. 2. Convincing a free agent to come here will also be a challenge. Outside of one of those centers, the Jackets should also pursue a #1 puck moving defenseman, such as Brian Campbell or Wade Redden. But can you convince one of those guys to come to Columbus? Perhaps, but that might be only because they'd offer them more money because the Jackets now have that money to spend. I had called the Brad Richards trade almost a year before it happened. I knew he was gonna be moved and I named the Jackets as possible suitors. Maybe I'm close on this one as well, but I think the Jackets will make a play for either Patrick Marleau or Olli Jokinen as their new, #1 center. Poaching someone's RFA is also a possibility, like P.M. Bouchard of the Wild. I'd also like to see the Jackets make a move for a steady, stay at home guy like Jason Smith or Marek Malik. We'll see how close I come to these predictions...
  15. I don't really have a lot of money in either of them, and both my Mustangs are in the unique position where they are either gaining value or just not losing it (due to what they are), so it doesn't bother me at all...
  16. Actually, my financial planner has no issues with how we are funding our retirement. I see what you are saying though, but I've got that $15K into some good funds, so I'm not that worried about changing it up.
  17. Damn straight! I often think of what I COULD be spending on my cars, but I'd rather retire early with plenty of cash...
  18. OK, I gotcha now. I don't know if there is any advantage over splitting it up. Personally, I see the Roth as a suppliment to your 401K. If you have maxed it out (the full $15K or whatever it is now), then the Roth is another good option to get some tax breaks. So if I were you, I'd keep funding that 401K until you hit that $15K per year or whatever it happens to be, if you can. If you have money left over that you can contribute after that, then for sure get in on the Roth...
  19. Pre-tax FTW. Max that bitch out. I've been maxing out my 401K since I was 26. In fact, I don't ever consider affording anything until I have that full 401K funded. It's not even an option for me...
  20. I know. I will be calling you soon, I promise...
  21. Woo-hoo, almost one year later and I still don't have the pullies on. I am the laziest Cobra owner ever...
  22. Thanks, I'll forward that on to my brother who has a 98 GS...
  23. I run/bike/lift 3-4 times a week, plus play ice hockey 2 or 3 times. No supplements though, I just go do it...
