  1. You could easily part it out for more than it went for.
  2. You can find them cheap on E-bay too, if you don't feel like leaving the comfort of your PC. But $4 is super cheap; probably should pick up a pair for the wife's car next time I'm there.
  3. Apartments suck. I'm stuck living in my wife's condo right now (am renting my house to my old roomate and a couple of his buddies). We have a very nice condo, but a deep 1 car garage, going up 2 flights of stairs to get into the place, and having neighbors sucks.
  4. Tons of stuff. New blank wakeboard, clothes, wallet, a bunch of booze, sushi maker, couple of books (including Artie Lange: Too Fat to Fish), some Wii stuff, gift cards, and some other stuff I'm not thinking of.
  5. I have posted pics when I just had 3; I don't know if I have any pics w/ my 4th one wall-mounted. I'll try to take some when I get back from vacation in a couple of weeks; I'm leaving for the airport after we finish lunch.
  6. I've got 3" true duals, sounds great. It's an LT1, not an LS1, which DOES make a difference in sound, but I've heard great sounding LS1 true-dual setups too.
  7. My 4 22" Samsungs > 1 Mac Monitor Probably cost less too, lol.
  8. If it is drywalled / insulated, even a small 220 electric heater will warm that size right up. And then you can use the 220 for welding.......
  9. Ugh, more Zoo Nut Hut crap. People listen to that kind of radio?
  10. +1. I'll take the stock look of my Av.
  11. All you salt truck guys have to be making a killing. Spreading salt without having to plow, and contracts that were written most likely when fuel prices were high....talk about PROFIT!
  12. Can't say I've ever had a positive experience with a Somalian...
  13. There are so many options for the F-body (including true-duals) that can be bought off the shelf, that I can't imagine there is really a market for doing them one-off.
  14. BS. The guy I know, his truck was cared for, 77k miles, and had rust down ALL of the frame rail. It had 3 years more on it than my Avalanche, but at the time, about 35k LESS miles. Yet we compared frames, and there isn't a single sign, or even a hit of, any frame rot. And mine has seen plenty of salt.
  15. ????? We haven't seen fuel prices this low in many years!
  16. Just got back from my company X-mas party. 270 from Easton to Fishinger. Saw literally 10 accidents; most were multi-car. Seriously, the roads weren't that bad. I could have drove 65-70 safely the whole way home without issue (was doing 65 until my wife saw a few accidents, and asked that I slow down). Seriously, we need stronger restrictions on who can get a license.
  17. Rent or buy a house, don't live in an apartment.
  18. No problem. Got your mom into a pretty sweet deal, lot's of HD channels...the works. I sent one of my techs out there to install it; said it is good to go now. Hope you enjoy the service.
  19. Co-worker turned his 99 Tacoma in for 18k; not shabby! The rot is real...his truck only had 77k on it, and it was rotted pretty badly. They gave 1.5x KBB retail in excellent condition, regardless of running order.

    DLP bulb

No, DLP is cheaper because it is a projection TV vs. a flat panel. Samsung has already fixed all of the main gripes with DLP in their new LED DLP line (bulb, color wheel, and the rainbow effect).
  21. Meijer > * Less expensive that Kroger, and probably about on par with Walmart, but with less of the white trash factor.
  22. Well, if it is a choice of having no income or at least some income, which would YOU choose? These UAW people are WAY overpaid to do unskilled work. Period. The UAW needs to go. They are what has been killing the Big 3 more than all other factors combined.
  23. Seriously, how lazy can she be to spend $242 to have Walnuts removed from the engine bay and a towing fee vs. spending 1/2 hour removing them herself. You don't exactly need to know ANYTHING about cars to know the difference between a nut and a car part. Remove the nuts, problem solved.

    DLP bulb

Go LED DLP, then there is no bulb or color wheel.
