They ALWAYS check ID's, even on older folks. We go there a lot, and I've never seen them skip checking a single person. We saw Tom Wilson the last time he was here; not the best comedian I've seen, but was a decent, entertaining show.
  2. - Now is the time to spend a little extra cash on a nicer quad. People are more desperate to get rid of their toys due to economic problems; you'll get a better deal on a higher end quad right now. - Blasters are fun. I spent a little time on one around Wayne a few weeks ago (swapping quads when riding with a group). Good for trail riding; not nearly as forgiving on bad landings as my Raptor. Of course it was nearly as quick as my Raptor either, but wasn't a dog by any means. Kick start is a PITA, but the quad is very simple too...and simple = less shit to break/fix. I'm 6'3", 210lbs, so I'm sure it will scoot a lot better with you on it. It was fun running through the gears on it in Wayne; with the Raptor it's pretty much 2nd through the trails, 3rd in more open areas, and barely ever getting to use 4th. With the Blaster you are changing gears a LOT more.
  3. Truck has almost 117k on it; I knew about the 80k warranty, and knew I was way out of that. I am waiting for Mario to bring the welder over; already cut out the old cats, and new...ummm...very very high flow "cats" are going into its place. Yes, I know a reprogram or sims will be necessary. The offender had the front honeycomb come completely loose, and looks like it turned itself sideways. The other one was starting to move around a bit but wasn't loose yet.
  4. 04 Raptor 660R. Wife has an 03 Polaris Trailblazer 250.
  5. Well, the problem got 20x worse, but I found the cause. I had to tow my boat over to my other house, so I could winterize/store it. The Avalanche was not fond of that across Columbus trip, and had to do half of it on surface streets as freeway towing wasn't cutting it. Sprayed carb cleaner around the intake, with no results. Truck was pulling a P0300 now, random misfires. Pulled the Passenger pre-cat O2, started it up, and presto...truck runs perfect. Why? Clogged cat; with that hole there, it had room to release the exhaust fumes. Pulled the Y-pipe (and other 3 O2's, and the crossmember...thank god for the impact gun), and you can hear a piece clunking in the cat. Now it is gutting vs. welding in a new cat; I can't see paying $400-500 for a new catted Y-pipe, which has to be ordered anyway.
  6. I haven't pulled an LS1's motor out of an F-body, but I've done and LT1 both from the top and the bottom. Honestly, it takes about the same time/effort either way, and you can keep the intake and heads on pulling it from the top.
  7. What I'm pointing out is you need more fun toys.
  8. We shouldn't have troops over there in the first place, so these things shouldn't even be a political point right now.
  9. As I said, you are too slow to get it. It's okay, I don't like you less because of that.
  10. And I've banged you both fat and thin. You were tighter with more junk in the trunk.
  11. Plug looked clean and like the others. Now I'm much more familiar with OBD-I vs. OBD-II, as I've done tuning with OBD-I, but at WOT, isn't the O2 sensor just giving a reference voltage, and not actually used in changing a/f ratio at all. Further, even if the O2 sensor can change the A/F ratio at WOT, why would it only impact cylinder #2, and not 4, 6, and 8? I'm asking, not saying the O2 isn't the cause, and can easily swap the two and re-test. Now the exhaust backpressure, that is something that could be an issue. The truck was throwing a P0430, Catalyst Efficiency low-bank 2. I cleared that code, and it hasn't came back in the several minutes I've driven the truck. It still may, but I haven't had the chance to drive it long enough yet. When I banged on the Y-pipe, it get a rattling inside of it, but I can't tell which side is rattling (almost sounds like both sides, as if something is in the Y-pipe).
  12. 5 days of use a year? I had mine out 1-2 times a week all summer...I wish I could have had it out more too! Insurance on a boat isn't expensive, gas you have to pay for on a rental too (at Marina gas prices...ouch). Besides, rentals are sometimes not available, and you are stuck to certain lakes. I don't think I boated on a single waterway this year that even offered a rental boat. As for quads, I don't get much use out of ours, but they are fun when I do.
  13. They are different shows, with a few similar themes. Family Guy is way better, but American Dad isn't bad. Perhaps you are too slow to understand Family Guy. It happens, don't be embarassed.
  14. 2002 Chevy Avalanche, 5.3L LM7 motor. Misfires only under load above 3500-4000 RPM. Throws a flashing SES light, my code scanner reveals it to be a P0302, which is a Cylinder misfire detected - Cylinder #2, which assuming OBD-II codes don't have their own weird cylinder numbering, that should be the front passenger cylinder. After letting off the gas, it may run rough for a bit, or may run perfectly fine. Light goes off soon after. At lower RPM's, runs great, gas mileage has been fine. I've swapped parts, cleared the code, and re-scanned, with the same code every time: - Swapped #2 and #4 plug/wire - Swapped #2 and #4 coil pack - Swapped #2 and #4 injector Code is still for #2 cylinder every time. Problem is reproducable 100% of the time. If it were a fuel pressure problem, I'd assume it would be on multiple cylinders. The rail pours a lot of fuel out at the #2 port when I pulled the injector, so I can assume no clog there. At this point I'm stumped...any ideas?
  15. Fun stuff. I tow quads and my boat. And an occassional car. Plus haul things in the bed from time to time. Econoboxes can't do those things.
  16. Bread Makers are awesome. If you buy the pre-packaged stuff, takes about 1 minute of work to go from opening the package to having the unit start making bread. 3 hours later, and tasty goodness. Already have a bread maker, though.
  17. Can't tow with your econobox. At least tow anything worth mentioning.
  18. Ehhh, Outlaw 10.5 is cooler IMO...you get REAL CARS, not tube frame contraptions, and they end up being almost as fast. Quick regardless, though.
  19. Umm, yeah, wrong forum. Moving.
  20. I highly doubt Sirius-XM will go under. Too much high $$ assets and too much income rolling in monthly to just shut the doors. I could see a buy-out of the company, though, and downsize/restructuring. I think they have over did it on the sports thing, investing too much into it without getting the draw they need to pay for it. My wife bought a 1000 shares of SIRI a couple weeks ago, but of course has lost half of it.
  21. You need to buy a Slingbox (or Pinnacle PC TV to Go HD...that I may be willing to sell ).
  22. Except the actually SIZE of the engine, once the Ford Mod motors came out, is actually larger than the LT1/LS1 motors. Physical size, not internal displacement. And in all honestly, unless you are racing in a call that has displacement requirements, physical size is FAR more important. I sure wouldn't say the Mustang has better paint than the F-body. Excluding beat to death cars from both makers, I see far more flaking paint on cared for cars from Mustangs, both SN95 and Fox, than I do with F-bodys. Rust doesn't seem to be much of an issue with either, at least when considering age vs. most other cars of the same age. I'd say reliablility is about on par with both. Excluding some internal motor parts (crank/rod/pistons,rocker arms), please show me some parts that actually interchange between a 3rd gen and even a LT1 4th gen F-body. Wheels = nope. Interior pieces, nope. Suspension parts don't either (some are similar, but not interchangeable). Neither are the brakes, exhaust, intake, cooling systems are different...way less similar than a Fox vs SN95 5.0. I've owned both, and can't imagine ever owning another Mustang. Maybe an 03-04 Cobra, but I'd have to get one for a steal to even consider that. I'd also say that's the best looking of all Mustangs (at least for past 30 some years).
  23. - U-verse ends up being more expensive. Since I work for WOW, I have that at my Reynoldsburg house, but am stuck with Time Warner at my near-Hillard condo, since we can't get WOW. I looked into getting U-verse, and it ended up being more expensive than Warner for the same stuff, which Warner is still more expensive than WOW. - U-Verse + multiple HD streams = not good bed fellows - As for all Digital; that's won't be an issue in the next couple of months with WOW, so that won't be a selling point for U-verse any more. Actually, it will be a point against them, as they may be all digital, but won't OFFER analog for those who don't want a box on a TV. I bet you are getting less product too: - Probably gave you the U1000 phone; that's not unlimited phone like our Advanced phone + no free calls to Canada - Probably gave you their Express internet - we don't even offer an internet package that slow. Their express package is actually 1.5Mbps vs. 8Mbps that you are getting with us. That's a huge difference. - You would save money by bundling your phone with WOW as well; not a fair comparison.
  24. But how do they compare to the Mickey Thompson Drag Radials? That's a far better comparison than to BFG's IMO.
