  1. Don't buy new; they are over $700 each from a dealer. I got my used one several years ago for around $250. In my case, the latch DID fail (I always check to ensure it is in all the way, and the top had been in for a couple days).
  2. Unless the place has an exclusive contract with Warner, you should get WOW.
  3. Hey, mine was the biggest! Oh wait, that's the one I wanted. Mine is kinda small.
  4. Well, if they back out, I might be able to throw a couple hundred your way in the process. And I've got the credit thing covered, so that's not an issue.
  5. Kill off that $1500 payment, and I'd be interested.
  6. Samsung 46" flat panel LCD > * Its 8k price tag > me. But that would kick ass as a PC monitor. Sit back on the couch with a wireless mouse and keyboard, and have at it.
  7. I have no idea; I've never tested myself. Never took a typing class or anything like that; I just typed enough that I memorized everything and don't have to look at the keyboard. If you asked me which keys are next to eachother without looking, I wouldn't have a clue. If you asked me to type those same keys without looking, that's a piece of cake.
  8. I just don't give a shit. Though I don't go around here posting racial slurs, I don't get all up in a hissy fit when I read them either. Sometimes people WANT to find something to be offended by. But I also have pretty thick skin, and can take a lot of bullshit without blowing my top. Some people can't.
  9. I just don't converse with ricers. They'll only bring you down to their level.
  10. Just because some noob member doesn't like something in the kitchen (which is a bit different than most of the BS in here) doesn't mean we are going to lock this thread. And damn, his wife is sexy.
  11. Man, I wanted to see him lick it up. They did something similar on Family Guy that was posted in this thread a couple months ago.
  12. That guy's balls > my balls. True story.
  13. If going carbed, SBC all the way. There isn't a motor out there (even the 5.0) that has the number of aftermarket parts for it, or has been swapped into more vehicles than the SBC. Parts are cheap, overly plentiful, and you'll never have trouble finding someone that knows how to work on one. And HP is simply how much you want to spend, and the sky is the limit.
  14. We can all only hope that car catches on fire and no one is able to collect insurance on it. That's the only justice that poor car could ever see.
  15. Get the Dell. But honestly, I'd suggest anything over a Mac.
  16. Copper has way too many sealing issues to deal with. I'll have to decide what kind of head gasket to run.

The interior on the C6 is pretty decent, folks. Nicer than the C5's, for sure.
  18. Am I the only person who forgot what today was?? I got stuck working, and had to write the date down on something. Looked at my phone, and it said 9/11. I think for a second, then it hits me....THAT'S what today is. Though I won't forget what the heros of this country did on 9/11, perhaps that we don't pawn over the day like we used to is an indication that we are getting past that event.
  19. Do you realize how big of a HP shot of spray it would be to expend 5lbs of N2O in 3 seconds??!!! To give you an idea, I run in the lower 11's, and spray out of the hole. 150 wet shot. I use about 2.5lbs of nitrous per pass (I've never accurately measured, but it's a good guestimate). So to uses some generalizations and simple math, I'd use 5lbs of nitrous in 22 seconds. To use that in 3 seconds, well that's nearly 7 times as much. 150 x 7 = 1050HP shot of nitrous. Ummm, no. Sure, an 8-9 second car might use 5lbs per run, but they are spraying longer than 3 seconds. Also forgot to mention is you can't use a bottle up until it is empty, as you just can't keep the pressure up in the bottle w/ that little in there. That said, this e-bay gimmick won't work, at all.
  20. With a 2.73 gear, it's going to feel like it has nothing down low. Good nitrous gear for near stock cars though (gets out of the hole well w/ that gear).
  21. 427 on an LT1 is BBBIIIIGGGGGGG bucks; tons of difficult machine work, sonic testing on multiple block to select the best canidate, and definately not worth the cash. You'll never normally see larger than a 398 on an LT1, unless someone is going for the ultimate high-dollar N/A setup. I believe people have gotten it up to 434ci, but these are people with deep pocket books and a desperate need for the win light. For a K-member, I'd either go BMR like my roomate has (very nice piece, they make tons of quality stuff), or PA Racing.
