As a 94 GT owner, these cars aren't exactly quick. If you want to go fast, go big or go home.....a piddly ported stock intake isn't going to do jack. That, and the number of aftermarket 5.0 intakes makes me wonder why you'd want to port the stocker, other than to save $$, but if the gains are minimal, what's the point?

I fogot to mention one of them flys by me, down shifts too low, and the car just sits there bouncing off the rev limiter. Fucking retards. It looks pretty good, but I question how structurally sound the setup is. Full-length subframes would have to be a bare minimum IMO. The strenghth of the A-pillars comes into question. Niffty, but would definately have to be well reseached before doing it. This has been done on a couple 4th Gen F-body's. The setup is a bit simpler, as all you are really doing is cutting out the T-bar and bolting in a targa top (this is true even for hardtop cars, as they are nothing more than T-tops cars w/ a fiberglass shell in place of the tops). The guy who did this also did subframe connectors and convertiable bracing. I believe it was determined that the A-pillars were the same setup as the vert's, so that wasn't an issue, and the B-pillar was strong enough without the support.

Hmmmm, I don't like growing pains. But other than the poor search function, I was happy w/ the UBB setup. Hopefully this will allow for more pics of hot womens to appear on the computer. That's always a plus.

I guess my encounter w/ the turbo Inslugra just wasn't enough. I was driving back to Columbus from Marion w/ the g/f this evening after visiting some friends up there. Again driving my Moostang, now sporting a nice exhaust leak. On 23 heading south, 5 cars pull out onto 23 from the Kroger/Walmart parking lot (the one 1/4 mile S of the State Trooper office. 2 newer Inslugras, one blue, one white. Two older Inslugras, one white, one red. Riced out green Civic EX for good measure. All had the mandatory fart pipe, a couple sitting nice and crooked. Idiot older white Inslugra pulls up to me, sporting a couple of HS girls in the car. Mind you, I'm about 3 car lengths behind a minivan, and minding my own business, short shifting, etc. Starts giving the gas and letting off next to me. My g/f starts laughing at them, and I give him the jerk off sign. He gets all mad and gives me the finger. From there, his buddies all do the same a bit. Then they start doing stupid shit. Weaving in and out of eachother, and other cars. 2 of the douchebags cut me off.....I was watching for them and expecting this behavior (they are ricers after all, that's what they do), so I never had to slam on my brakes or anything as I could tell when they were planning to cut me off. They tried to race eachother a couple times, but luckily heavy traffic didn't allow much of that. Thankfully, the morons pulled off to a shopping center near Polaris Parkway. Ugh; I can only imagine what it would have been like has I been in the Formula. Fuckers probably would have ended up running into me. And if I had enough time to toss my street tires back on this afternoon, I would have been driving it. So if any of you are friends with these idiots: #1: Get better friends #2: Tell them to stop being typical ricers.

Nice, but that cage isn't exactly a top-notch job. Looks kinda just slapped in there; gapped way too far from everything. Unpainted, some rust spots, and el'cheapo padding on it. Exhaust looks really low too. Motor looks like a nice piece, and the body looks good.

But who in the fawk would go to some ricer event to do test and tune racing w/ a domestic, when there are countless tracks that do test and tune every week?

They are alright. Ditching the wing would make the car look 10x better. Nothing I'd ever desire to own, but there are definately worse cars for the money!

Pretty much what I'd say about them. I almost purchased a mint condition one years ago, but the other issues with them kind of kept me away a bit, and for what I would have used it for, it was the best decision for me.

Do they have one of those for anal use??
