Man, that's worse than when Episode 2 came out. I went to the midnight showing at Lennox for that (the line was INSANE), and though there were some dressed up freaks, isn't wasn't anything insane. I'd love to go tonight, but I don't have anyone to go with, plus I have to be up at 6:45am to get ready for work, so I'll just have to go watch it this weekend.

This applies to pretty much all message boards I frequent, not just this one. A noob makes a "hi, i'm a noob" post (notice said noob doesn't know what a capital letter is). Of course you get the typical "Welcomes" from veteran members, then a few ribbings from those getting good ol' entertainment from the noobs. But you just HAVE to have another noob giving them a welcome. WTF, they are a noob too. If you are not an estabilished part of the forum community, you should be trying becoming one, and not pretend you are one by welcoming others. Man, if you guys are thinking Livingston is bad and scary to drive through, you haven't seen bad areas of Columbus. There are some decent areas of Livingston too. One of the worst areas in terms of people tends to be around Champion/Ohio Ave area. The whole 43205 area is a total shit hole. A lot of the places mentioned are also crappy. That said, I've worked in pretty much every neighborhood in this town at one time or another. I've yet to go into one where I was afraid to be in during the day time (and yes, I'm a white boy). There are a number of places I wouldn't want to set foot in during the evening/night time.

Pretty much any machine shop will do it. The machine shop next to Jegs on 11th hot tanked my boat's block and crank.

I feel that article is definately off-target. It totally leaves out GM's truck market. Sure the Silverado SS is a poor performer, and the SSR is too much money, but the rest of the lineup is rock solid. Caddy's whole lineup is better than it has ever been. They are getting it done. GM has a niffty lineup with Saab, but they put no focus on it at all. That's just bad marketing, something GM has a history of being very poor with. Pontiac has seen better days. But the G6 isn't a bad car, but IMO is priced too high, especially as a Grand Am replacement. The GTO is correctly priced IMO and is a great car. Grand Prix is status quo and where it should be. The rest of the lineup should be dumped, though. GMC is same as usual, but in a good way. Hummer lineup is pretty sweet, and every vehicle offered is unique. They might as well axe Buick, the whole lineup sucks. I've never liked Saturn, though they seem to be trying a little harder recently, especially w/ the Sky coming out soon. Chevy has some great, and some bad. C6 is freaking awesome, a world-class sports car. Truck lineup is strong. The Cobalt is a step in the right direction, though not a big enough step. The van lineup needs re-vamped. The Aveo needs axed. The Monte, Impala, and Malibu need totally rethought out. They are boring and not getting the job done. That said, GM as a whole offers more vehicles I would buy than any other maker.

I'm comparing to a quad-cab dualy, large 1 ton diesel truck, etc. That, and I drive a 04 E250 daily and don't find it to be that large, so I guess it has to do w/ perspective a bit too.
