  1. What was your purpose in going w/ all this aftermarket ignition stuff?? Were you having ignition issues, or is the factory stuff not up to snuff perhaps?? I ask because most of that is usually overkill until you start running power adders or very serious N/A stuff on most modern cars. I only upgraded due to running nitrous (and part of that is because of the nitrous controls I get w/ the ignition box). N/A, I'm sure I didn't pick up any HP at all w/ my wires/coil/ignition. Gap wise, I run .040, but that's because I spray, and most guys spraying LT1's tend to be .035-.040. My old MSD Digital 6+ box did help hide the impact of having some severly worn (.080+ gap) plugs when I first got the car.
  2. My NX kit is an earlier kit; I bought it new almost 5 years ago. Back then, the bottle heaters had a liquid filled gauge as part of the trigger assembly. Entire assembly I've never had any problems w/ it. Today is the first time I've sprayed all year. Got the bottle filled. As a precaution, after hooking up the bottle, I opened up very slowly, so the system could gradually build pressure. At about 700psi, I hear a pop, and saw clear liquid running down the side of my spare tire well (where I keep my bottle). I look at the top of the gauge, and see this: Gauge face, missing most of its oil now I take the gauge assembly out, and look at the side of it. Looks like some pressure release port popped out the side of it: Port that popped out on the side of the gauge Now I've not beaten on this gauge, and it hasn't moved from its location in years. Where it is mounted, NOTHING touches where that port side is. And at 700psi (both that gauge and my dash gauge verified), the pressure is well below acceptable limits Entire assembly, open port side Any clue as to what caused this?? I'd say the cold from the winter, but the car sees the same winter cold every winter. I've done nothing back there to bother it. Perhaps just something freak happened?? For now, I just bypassed it, and now I have to manually shut the heater on/off, or it will heat forever. I can fix it w/ out the gauge, but I like having it back there. Figured I'd see if anyone else has experienced something similar prior to me contacting NX about it.
  3. Maybe next time she should get out of the vehicle the FIRST time she is told.
  4. Video that proves the above one is a fake
  5. When one is at least a slightly active member of the community. There is no set rule, but 3 posts obviously is a noob.

    new

That applies to ALL message boards/online communitys/life situations where you are new. You wouldn't come to my house not knowing me, get invited in, then start welcoming in new people 2 minutes later, would you??
  7. JDM, yo! - Stock taillights look better - JDM != cool - $500 for taillights is just plain stupid

  9. $$$$$ NASCAR is where the money is in the US when it comes to motorsports, period. Money talks, bullshit walks. Though I agree with you, that's THE reason.
  10. Pointless; there are enough eyes watching that to the point she would be flamed in about 10 minutes following the post.
  11. Drunk posting, aren't you?? I liked the Saab 9-5 I drove; awesome car, but the tranny sucked a butt nugget, and it's wrong wheel drive. I've seen too many people (even on here) post about problems w/ their Audi's. I'd personally hate to have a problematic car at that price level; as I'm sure parts are probably a bit of an ass raping. I can't think of anything else not listed, but I try to not think about 4 door cars.
  12. It wasn't there, but Mark was talking about it. He said it turned out well, and sounded a bit like mine.
  13. You should have stayed for when I took off; WOT on Taylor was the goodness. It's amazing what just some piping and placement of the mufflers does for the sound of the car. Same bullets I rolled in w/, but the car sounds totally different.
  14. I went w/ Shawn today, got the car done. Mark did a great job; fits exactly how I wanted it to (actually even better since we did some minor underbody mods), and he added extra hangers I wasn't even expecting that make the setup that much more secure. I'm pleased w/ how it turned out, and the car sounds awesome; definately the best it has ever sounded, and I've had a few different setups on her.

  16. Your sig is the gayness. Besides the improper grammar/spelling, 0-60 times are for faggy magazine racers.
  17. Snopes link....the site is a hoax
  18. Moving to tech forum...... I know w/ the 93-97 cars, the headlight gears can strip themselves (mine have never done it, though), and it's a free fix; just flip the gear around, and it's good to go.
