  1. That car is titties and beer. And if you didn't know, I'm a fan of both titties and beer.
  2. Buddy of mine had one on his 96 S-10; damn thing leaked like a siv. I've never really liked how they shifted, at least on the F-body's. I've got a B&M Ripper on the Mustang, which shifts really nicely, but has a bit of rattle in it. For the Firebird, I have an SLP short throw w/ Lou's Short Stick. Though I had people try to tell me that would be a crappy combo, inaccurate, etc. I freaking LOVE it. Very crisp, short, and precise, and the combo is cheaper than anything else out there. smile.gif
  3. FAWK FAWK FAWK....I FORGOT!!! I can't belive I forgot; I've seen every episode at least 3 times, most I've seen more than that. And I freaking forgot. Time to go see when they will rebroadcast it and fire up the DVR!
  4. ZEX.....this is the same company that sells a show purge nitrous kit. That's right, a nitrous kit solely meant for purging. ZEX is meant for ricers, not racers. Venom: They have never clearly answered (and have actually side-stepped questions in other forums) about how they adjust a/f ratios w/ narrow band 02 sensor applications. The ONLY successful big power dry kits I've heard of were those running stand alone ECM's that have specific nitrous controls in them, that bump the duty cycle up on the injectors when nitrous is being sprayed. You normal dry kit just bumps fuel pressure, which causes that much more demand on the fuel pump, and you can only go so high before the injectors become unhappy w/ the fuel pressure. The biggest cause of nitrous backfires seems to be people spraying at too low of an RPM. This is why a window switch is so key.
  5. A bias-ply tire out back and radials up front will make the rear end feel "wavy". I was also comparing ET Radials to BFG DR's. Obviously if you were pulling the same 60' on both ET Streets and BFG DR's, you either don't have anything left in the car 60' wise, didn't heat the ET Streets enough, ran too much tire pressure in them, or some other factor, as they are DEFINATELY a stickier and better launching tire than a BFG DR.
  6. This is why you are supposed to use those little plastic things called debit and credit cards. Slide the little card into the slot on the pump, then pump away. Hell, I wish all pumps were pre-pay; I never go in to pay for gas anyway.
  7. Wasnt drug related. His death was a heart failure, and his mother was quoted as saying Mitch was born w/ a heart condition that he was frequently concerned about.
  8. Another Mustang owner. They are slow but reliable. It's like owning a Honda but without it being so boring. smile.gif
  9. Big Rick broke his own record again..... 8.08 @ 172
  10. That song was very inappropriate for that car.
  11. For best bolt-on flow, a set of long tubes, Mufflex Y-pipe (or the Mufflex pipe sold by QTP w/ built-in cutouts), and a Mufflex 4" back exhaust setup would be the best. Could do true duals as well, though it can be a PITA depending on what other mods you have. Mine is one of those PITA setups (SLP diamond subframe connectors + Spohn torque arm = not exhaust friendly). I just need to get my buddy over here to weld up my new setup. There is a place that sells true dual kits as well (dumps before the axle). Or can do a Hooker 3" pipe into a "pick your 3" catback" exhaust. I personally don't like the look of the Hooker and Magnaflow catbacks. I like the Corsa and Borla, but way too much money for a 3" catback.
  12. Bad, but a thread about a year ago had nothing but f'ed up titties that were far worse than that!
  13. Just different fighting styles. The Tiger definately has the advantage on the land. Both in the water (or crock in the water, tiger at the water's edge), and that Tiger would have been done for w/ the quickness.
  14. THe guys talking in the background are piece of shit riceboys, and if you agree with them, so are you. Repost.
  15. Sirius Raw Dog plays a lot of his standup, so I've heard most of those. smile.gif
  16. I should be, just need to go get tickets for opening night.
  17. Man, reading this NSX guy's posts makes my head hurt. Is it that hard to include all of the vowels in your words and use the shift key from time to time??
  18. You might have software still installed from when you had their service. But trust me, WOW has NOTHING to do with Road Runner. NOTHING. We never have, and never will.
  19. All of the apartments in that area suck, and a number of the homes in close proximity do too.....even though it is so close to Westerville and Worthington. Solution: don't show ANY signs of anything aftermarket in your car if you live in a bad area....or they will steal it.
  20. Why not mess with him. Send him some false info and such, waste his time a bit. smile.gif
  21. Cool, I just wish there was more you could do
  22. I'd definately have to say MT's over BFG's. The BFG's have been around for years, and the BFG records all seem to be being broken by the fairly recently released MT DR's. Since neither will last long w/ street use (unlike the Nitto's), the BFG's are pretty much obsolete.
  23. If I could afford to go the boost route I would. But I can't currently, so no boost for me. I'd love to have PTK single on my car w/ a forged shortblock.....any donations?? And there are PLENTY of fast nitrous cars too. Fastest 6-speed 4th Gen car is a nitrous car. And my car just happenes to be a 6-speed car.........
  24. Sometimes gift cards not working can be a good thing....... My g/f got my roomate a $10 card to Chipotle this past Xmas. Seems that it is f'ed up and their card reader doesn't read it, and it's a big PITA for them to get it to work. Since they are always so busy, they just give him the burrito for free. Let's just say that $10 would have been burned up a long time ago.....it has become the free Chipotle card.
