She's all done. Had to pull the tank. Probably could have pulled it off w/ the tank in place if the exhaust and bumper cover were gone. Luckily the tank bolts weren't rusted too badly, and came out with a little conviencing. Pretty straight forward job. Did find a small hole in the filler neck I had to patch.

They are refered to as DSLs. DSL would be dick sucking lip. Hopefully she has 2 of them, unless you are a sick bastard.

I found today that the stupid seal/grommet (whatever you decide to call it) that goes between the gas tank and the gas filler neck on a 94 Mustang is a dealer only item. And this IS an item that does have a decent chance of wearing out.

I hate to agree with him, but come on Anthony, a stock AOD drop top Fox body isn't exactly a speed demon by any stretch. smile.gif

What does the size of the tire have to do with anything?? Yes, a tubbed 4-link car is one thing. But a mini-tubbed car w/ a stockish style suspension (and perhaps widended fenders) can run a huge tire and still be very streetable.

I'll probably just try to pull the neck out first. The straps on the tank are pretty old, and I fear pulling those bolts might be the end of them. Found out Autozone and Advanced Auto don't carry the grommet; Advanced guy says Napa does.....of course they are always freaking closed. So she isn't getting fixed tonight.

I'll offer $300 cash for the original TV in the thread. I just can't offer more for a non-HD rear projection TV; they just don't have much value anymore, and you can get 50+" rear projection HD TV's in the 900's new w/ a good sale at the right place. By cash I mean I have the cash to buy, not "I can set something up in a few weeks, or I'll talk to the wife, etc."

I can't see why I'd have to drop the tank; it is really easy to get to; nothing is in the way. Hopefully Autozone carries one.
