  1. Porsche without a doubt, and that's just on looks alone. Porsches's are very moddable (be it a lot more expensive), have a better enthusiast base (less F&F, more serious racers). Definately have the pimp factor. The Porsche is a GT 2+2 car, not a sedan (that's significant to me). The Porshe will hold its value MUCH better.
  2. Yup, we are moving speeds up for our advanced and ultra customers free of charge. We have been doing it slowly for the past month or so, so you may/may not have that speed at that date.
  3. Just say no to the rape artists known as RKSport. From overpriced parts to poor customer service, they have the whole package going on. I'd contact Intense, I'm sure they have a nice replacement for you.
  4. I'm sure that Porsche is a bit cheaper over there than it is here (and that one here would probably sell for in the teens). The Toyota video was good. This one.....of course you aren't going to do much to it hitting things from the front. A rear engined, air cooled car doesn't have a whole lot of vital stuff up front (other than the suspension) to destroy, as long as you don't REALLY hit something hard. Acid would do the same thing to any other car. Same as throwing a rock through the window, and kicking the window. Shooting the fender w/ a shotgun also doesn't hit anything vital. Imagine how impressed he would be w/ a 70's station wagon!!
  5. Yep, after a year expired, you have to purchase new plates. Happened to me last year w/ my boat trailer.
  6. Nitto DR's make a good street drag radial. They WILL last 15-20k miles (assuming you will wear them all the way down). People tend to make the mistake of over-inflating them, though, and end up wearing the centers out far quicker than the outer parts of the tires. It sounds low, but to get an EVEN wear on the tires, you need to run them about 24 psi. BFG DR's are pretty much outclassed now. They don't last long, yet don't hook like the MT drag radials. Basically, you are spending the same amount of money to get a worse tire. They were the "performance" drag radial to get until MT released their tire, now all the serious drag radial guys run the MT's. Nitto also offers the 555RII, which is their DOT "Road-Race" tire. It is basically a Nitto DR w/ stiff sidewalls. I would think that would be a more appropriate tire for a 240, but unless you can stuff a 275/40/17 under your wheel well, you won't be running one of those. I plan on replacing my current street tires with these when the time comes.

  9. I only run a front plate because the bracket was on my car when I purchased it. So if I remove the bracket, there will be two small holes there. But if the bill passed (yeah, right), or if I ever paint the front end, the bracket is coming off. I'll just pay the freaking fine.
  10. Man, that sounds just like what I posted up in college years ago when I sold my Ferret (though I asked and got a lot more than $50 for it). Mine was a total lie; I had time for it, but the stinky thing was a PITA and got to the point that I couldn't stand it anymore. My acting job of me going to "miss it" when I sold her was Emmy worthy! $50 sounds like a good price w/ a cage and all the goodies though.
  11. There, I took the liberty to edit that post so others could actually read it.
  12. What is this mailing list you speak of. This is a MESSAGE BOARD, not a mailing list. There is a VERY big difference between the two.
  13. Now here is a review of something I would definately drink. Though I'm sure the local liquor store doesn't stock it.
  14. Call the NAPA on 161; if any parts store in town will have it, they will.
  15. Go to http://www.siriusbackstage.com/forum/ and search for It's On Sirius or something like that. A member there created the program, and does updates to it all the time. He also answers a lot of questions about the program.
  16. http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ And it's free.
  17. Puppies > children. True story.
  18. Good luck finding a place for $250/month that isn't a ghetto hell hole, or having to share space with about 12 people! I'm in need of a roomate, but for $350/month, and that's pretty good for this area.
  19. I always hear about waterbeds being bad for your back. I had one from age 6-16 (full wave). It died, so I get your regular, run of the mill matress. That thing wasn't nearly as comfortable as my waterbed, and my back definately wasn't as happy. Around age 19, I get tired of that bed, and buy a queen waveless waterbed (best matress they had).....25 and still have that bed, and love it. I don't wake up with back aches, nor do I have any back problems at all. It's nice to go to bed in the winter in a nice, heated water bed. smile.gif
  20. My Toshiba has been great. Off center viewing is very good with it, especially for a 90's 50" 4:3 CRT non-HD Rear Projection.
  21. You guys ALL need to install this: It's On Sirius This program is 100x better than the Sirius interface. That said, I don't really use the Sirius online anymore just because the bit-rate is so low; I normally use Shoutcast when listening online. That, and I spend all day listening to Sirius in my work truck.
  22. I went there once when I was dating the super psycho bitch. Cost me good chunk o' change, but it was fun. The cabin was freaking awesome.
  23. I run Dino oil in everything, and just change it w/ the filter every 3k. Unless it has a turbo on it, it's getting Dino oil from me.
