  1. Speaking of primer all over a car..........
  2. I love how the board is looked at this way, yet about 1/2 of the board is import guys. Guess this is a "import bias" crowd too, right?? Hell, this thread alone is 1/2 imports and 1/2 domestics. CTS-V > Sti. True story (of course it costs more too). That's why for the money, I'd spend less than the Sti and get an 05 GTO.
  3. $495 to have it shipped. Eeek, I woulda made the trip to Jersey myself for that much, especially when that's 25% of the cost of the car!
  4. I'll just go ahead and say that if I ever run and get away from the cops, there's no way I'd turn myself in. Just being honest. I wonder what % of runners actually get away. Of course when you watch Cops and other police chase shows, they always catch them. But I know a number of people who have successfully ran and never got caught. Not that I suggest doing so, and I've never done it nor plan on it.
  5. There are plenty of AWD cars I like too. I just don't like wrong wheel drive.....it's designed for economy, not speed. Just like the Yugo. smile.gif
  6. CTS-V. The Sti looks WWAAAYYY too boy-racer'ish w/ the big ol' rice wing. The hooscoop is borderline but liveable, the wing isn't excusable. The CTS-V is a much more classy, powerful looking car. Of course it costs more too, though; hence for a fair price comparison, I'd much rather have an 05 GTO over an 05 Sti/EVO.
  7. Sadly, the Mustang gets the same gas mileage as my Jimmy did. I'm really going to cry once springs hits and I start putting 94 in the Formula.
  8. Should be a fairly easy junk yard item, as they were only used in the V6's, which tend to be much easier to find in the yards.
  9. The Frog Bear & Wild Boar Bar Usually Saturday nights, normally 1-2 Sat. nights a month. Why? Live music, which I always feel is better than a DJ. And they tend to have some decent bands play there, which is a BIG plus. Good variety of women there, but tends to draw in some of the older crowd. The lady bartenders/waitresses are top notch. Bathroom is fairly clean, and has the LCD screens above the urinals, though it could definately use some more urinals and less stalls. Booze is about average in price. The place does good for sitting and standing area, which is a plus, and something people really care about. Sound is also a big issue for me. I used to go to Krome a fair amount (a while ago), and my biggest complaint with that place was the music was TOO DAMN LOUD. You literally had to scream just to talk to the person next to you, it was insane. Frog Bear does pretty well with the volume levels; loud but not excessive by the stage, quiet enough that you can have a conversation towards the back. Things I'd personally like to see in a club: - QUICK/EASY drink ordering at a bar. I hate waiting to buy my booze, especially in busy places where you have to put a bunch of effort in to get to the bar and get the bartenders attention to get a drink. Too many clubs/bars put a lot of focus on seating for people AT the bar, yet the majority of the drinks they are selling are to people NOT sitting there. - Heat in the line area of some kind. I don't wear a jacket into a club, and it sucks freezing your ass off waiting in line. - Easy entry/exit between different parts of the club. I don't want to struggle through some tight doorway everyone is trying to get through just so I can take a leak. - Good temperature control. Not really a winter problem, but some places turn into an oven in the warm months. I'm losing enough hydration drinking my mind away; I can't afford to lose any more to sweat. Hopefully that input will help a bit. We used to go to Bannana Joe's a LOT when it was open and busy (that place is my favorite of all time during its high point). Brother's is ok once in a great while, but the setup there sucks. Krome used to be pretty fun. A lot of people like Long Street, but I never had fun there any time I've went. Victory's can be fun, but the crowd usually sucks and their setup doesn't work well for them unless the place is packed. Edit: IF you want to take a look at a pretty cool club scene, go down to Orlando, FL. All of their good stuff is in one area in downtown, and is freaking AWESOME. I highly suggest a place called "Club Orlando"
  10. It doesn't cost that much to post up an auction starting at a $1.
  11. The memory loss is always appreciated. The people reminding you of what you did are not.
  12. Just started downloading....should be done in about 4-5 minutes. Looks like you are hosting it on a decent server. smile.gif
  13. Tommy, you need to have your puppy hang out with Dexter, the lab that had to have been calm from birth. Dexter is easier to take care of than a cat. smile.gif
  14. You should probably buy one of those back. Seriously.
  15. I hope they fry that fucker.
  16. Wow, I actually showed up. smile.gif

Feeding the troll. He's hungry. The kid doesn't have any of those cars. If so, he would have offered up proof by now. <---- Has no desire to own a BMW.

Troll. You probably don't even own a BMW. Most likely some 15 year old fan-boy / internet tough guy. The only people you are trying to impress are the yuppies. And even they think your little displays are retarded. But oh no, I drive 2 GM's and a Ford, so I must not be worthy.
  22. Where the hell is Ashville? If it's not in Franklin county (or near the border of Franklin), it won't happen, and may never happen (has to be profitable, and something like that would cost any company a HUGE investment to start up in a new area). Are they doing this in certain sections of town? or just randomly picking people.[/QB] For everyone, it is just taking some time. Less to do with parts of town, more to do w/ what group of modems they do at a time. Doing it slowly to try to minimize customer problems. That's why we haven't announced it yet, and technically if you are paying for the advanced package, we are only guaranteeing 2Mbps until the upgrade is complete for everyone.
