  1. I'm sure those firefighters would have been just sitting in the station watching TV anyway, so why not?
  2. Bike rack, holds 3 bikes, trunk mount. Though I don't have the box, and the model # isn't on the rack, I am 99% sure this is the unit (based on pics / specs / comparisons) - the Yakima Super Joe 3 http://www.yakima.com/racks/bike-racks/product/8002614/superjoe-3.aspx It is nearly mint condition. My wife purchased it right before we met, and maybe used it a couple of times. Since I have the Avalanche, we have no use for this. Issue: missing 6 of the 12 "chainstraps" Has enough to mouint 1.5 bikes on it currently. Chainstraps are sold in pairs, and all 3 pairs (6 total) can be bought at Amazon brand new for $24 tota shippedl: http://www.amazon.com/Yakima-8002412-Chain-Strap/dp/B0012SFHIE Price: $60.
  3. Why do your religious views have to do with the right to marriage? Separation of Church and State. Maybe they should ban mixed race marriages as well. Or marriages where the people are more than 5 years apart in age. Ohh, I know, no marriage with people who have family with different religious background. Keep that Jew from marrying that Catholic. FYI - I do not support the liberal agenda. I also don't support the holy rollers either.
  4. What do you think about the Carbon Motors car?
  5. I have no speed issues at all with iTunes. I hate the interface. I hate how FLAC is somehow not a recognized format...come on, it's THE most common lossless audio format. Then of course I update my iTunes, and it decides that now it forgets its library, so I have to reload that as well. Oh, want to just transfer your iPod info back into iTunes...another mess entirely. I hate iTunes. I have 0 use for AppleTV...if I want to stream movies, I'll use my Netflix account - can stream straight to my PS3 with no other hardware needed.
  6. Really, that little thing has 4 video outputs and can hold 3 CD/DVD/Blu-Ray drives? There is a genuine use for full-tower PC's. I make full use of it. I am sure there are Mac users out there that have full towers full of stuff as well. I also wanted to add that I don't hate all Apple products. I'm not a fan of OSX (I've used it a number of times). I'm not a fan of overpaying for hardware, or the whole "Apple computing experience" as it is portrayed. I hate how most of their displays have a glossy screen. I do own an iPod (that functions like a portable hard drvie in my Avalanche). If Verizon can't match AT&T's plan for a Droid, my wife and I are getting iPhones next month. I like the magnetic charger on the Apple laptops too. It's not all bad (I hope everyone can agree iTunes sucks major dick though...god I hate that program).
  7. You realize this is something that goes into a dedicated RACE CAR, right? Race cars are never "well balanced." They are purpose built to do whatever they are built to do the best they can, while sacrificing all else to make it happen = not well balanced.
  8. http://www.carbonmotors.com/ They have the correct idea on how to build a law enforcement vehicle. Small displacement diesel is what is really needed on a cop car anyway, that spends the biggest part of its time idling.
  9. Well, I didn't buy an Audi (my wife did). That said, you get a lot more with the price increase of the Audi vs. the Ford Focus. You GET THE SAME HARDWARE when you buy a Mac vs a PC. Of course it's cleaner, mine would be too if I had 1 monitor, no printers, 2 channel surround, etc. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=168&pictureid=3742 Your iMac has 4 monitors? Odd, looks like one. Do you even have 4 DVI / HDMI ports to plug into? Where in the hell are you going to fit 2 DVD burners and a Blu-Ray burner into that? And yes, I use ALL 3 AT ONCE on a very regular basis (multiple times a week). But let's not forget that the Blu-ray support in OSX is shitty at best. How are you going to fit 6 hard drives into that thing? Or even 2. 1TB isn't nearly enough hard drive for me. No, it's example of I have a lot more shit to deal with on my setup, and it isn't a problem, so how are you having issues?
  10. If you are so in love with OSX, why not just build a Hackintosh and save a ton of money?
  11. You must really suck with PC's. Hours to work? Hook up and go, that's about it. I mean, I'm sure your little desktop setup is somehow much more difficult to get going than my 4 monitor, 5.1 surround, laser printer, ink-jet with scanner, SATA DVD burner, IDE DVD burner, Blu-ray burner, whole house wired / wireless networked setup (with running 2 media servers to service my PS3) - none of which was difficult. Running two XP work laptops, Vista Laptop, and my Windows 7 desktop. The software items that have been difficult to get running (but do now) has been stuff you can't even get to run AT ALL on a Mac (unless you run one of your Windows Emulators...and even then, I'm not fully sure it would work). Macs are a waste of money.
  12. T T T for new price, new link, and update to the description. Looks like we will be doing an open house on Sunday.
  13. The center console has to go. The fart cans need to be changed out for something less ricey. Otherwise, nice car.
  14. I thought Macs didn't break. For how much they cost for the same hardware everyone else is using, they sure as hell shouldn't. My dumbass brother just spent $1800 on a freaking Macbook Pro. You can buy the same spec Dell (doing just a quick 1 minute build on their website) for about $700 less. For $700, you can buy a decent desktop to go along with that laptop.
  15. Honestly, you probably don't know shit about computers if you are calling tech support anyway.
  16. I never said I needed SLI. I PC is setup so I can put it into SLI, but I never do:
  17. Funny...my last stock shortblock, stock intake, and many other stock parts LT1 was faster than all of the LS1's owners in this thread.
  18. http://www.sirius.com Subscribe. It's $12.99/month. Very easy to get.
  19. I can tell you my 4 7200RPM Samsung drives in a RAID0 perform noticably quicker than my 1 Seagate 7200RPM drive, all on my Asus board. Noticable on both boot up, and very noticable on some hard drive intensive stuff I do (as in trimming hours off of a task).
  20. I only heard the tail end of it, and what they talked about on the Wrap Up Show. Heard all the early morning stuff too. Hopefully I'll hear it on the Friday replay.
