  1. May not be exciting to some, but I'm bored as hell so whatever... First thing I noticed (being a big guy), the doorway is kinda small, this was a 4 door. The seats are awesome, this thing had every option all the way to heated seats and heads up display. I was impressed at how smooth yet solid the ride was and seats are awesome. Once you get in the car, there is plenty of room. Pontiac has always had great ergonomics. The power was pretty impressive and very torquey (is that a word?). The car has 70k + on the clock, no rattles or squeaks like a typical GM car develops. There was however a lot of wheel noise, maybe the bearings are warn? I've always likes the looks of the GTP and wouldn't mind owning one some day. I'll never forget the day when my Mustang was near stock and I got schooled by a GTP at Trails, that sucked. not a bad car.
  2. I emailed the city...see below..... Per the city's snow plan, the first priority is to clear all primary streets. We then move onto the high-volume residential streets, and if needed the residential side streets. As of the afternoon of December 24, 2004, all available crews have been working on clearing primary streets. This afternoon, we are starting to send crews onto high-volume residential streets. Under ideal conditions, this phase of service typically takes about 12 hours of uninterrupted service, however things are moving slow because of the ice and extreme cold temperatures. Once we move onto residential side streets, we could typically service those streets in about 36 hours, but again things are moving slow. We currently don't know when we will be moving to the next phase of service. Rick Eichorn Customer Service Supervisor City of Columbus Transportation Division 614-645-0608
  3. I used to deliver pizza's back in the day. I remember one winter, it was really bad one night, they ended up calling a level 3, so we had to stop delivering. Anyways, there was so much snow I couldn't tell where the driveways were at. I had a lifted Toyota Pick up at the time. I would just pull up to front door, as close as I could. This one house the guy opens the door and starts laughing, "Hey honey" he yells, "the pizza guy is parked in your flower bed". I was like, oh shit. She came down and they started laughing. They gave me a $10 tip. Fun times
  4. Hey, jusy got WOW HDTV hooked up. Some channels look horrible, mainly the lower number (are those still analog?). When they first hooked it up, the HD channels were awesome, now they're kinda fuzzy. Could this be from the weather? My friend has time warner HD service and his picture is off the hook! Does time warner have a better product? Should I upgrade to monster cables, will that help? Why doesn't the box utilize the DVI or whatever it is? BC
  5. Think of it as a blessing. A time to spend with family. Be thankful for what you have.
  6. Just a friendly reminder to make sure your car has the correct level of antifreeze. My Mustang is parked for the winter and I doubled checked just to make sure it's good go. It's going to be -9 degrees!
  7. Yeah, what an experience working there! I worked 3 months strait and couldn't get a day off to move into my new Apartment, this was like 8 years ago. I was dating (my now wife) the boss's daughter. That got me no where but fired. Oh, I used to run the test tank also. You get all wet and the smell of those rubber gloves, I can remember the smell like yesterday. graemlins/puke.gif - waiting for eric to post
  8. That's a nice house. It's tough selling in this area right now. I'm not sure why, but there are houses in my neighborhood (alkire lakes) that have been on the market for years and some are asking less than what they paid for it new, 2-4 years ago. Maybe it because there are so many new builds in the area. I'm puttin my house on the market this spring and I'm hoping for the best. Good luck, BC
